Mala nodded in agreement. She was tempted to make a comment about how the next time they were alone together he wasn't going to escape the bedroom easilly at this rate - but she was pretty sure Riley wouldn't want to hear such a thing. "I can see why he was so arrogant when we first met."

Van looked around the room, everything falling silent again as Angel had already fallen asleep. His cheeks turned pink as he looked at the door, knowing those two were no doubt eavesdropping. Stepping to the side of the door, as he had a pretty good idea what was going to happen, he opened the door, making Riley fall on his face from being plastered against the door.

When Mala heard Van walking towards the door, she scooted to the side - so that she was leaning against the wall instead of the door. Mala snickered silently once she saw Riley fall over.

"That's what you get. If I wanted you to listen in, I wouldn't have sent you out in the first place, now wouldn't I?" Van said leaning over Riley with a bit of a smug smirk.
((*sigh* Joy oh joy....The Giants won....Now I get to hear the rest of my block whooping and hollering and setting of firecrackers in the street. ~_~))

((Giants vs. Phillies. I don't follow sports. I don't care about sports. Giants are my home team, so yay, they won and all, but it's the loud and crazy neighbors coming out that inevitably follows that I hate. >_<))

Mala stood herself up and strode on in after Van made his comment toward Riley, a blatant smirk on her face. She crossed her arms as she playfully said, "He wasn't the only one who was bad. Am I going to be 'punished' for it?"

Mala approached Van, wrapping her arms around his neck and grinning at him. The look in her eyes seemed to match the teasing she did earlier about his blushing.

Riley promptly clapped his hands over his ears once he'd gotten up off the floor. "And here's where I stop listening."
