"I feel strange," replied Special. "It's like something was messing around with my mind and now I can't even see straight." Her eyes immediately went cross-eyed as she collapsed to the ground. "That purple elephant just tripped me!" shouted Special, pointing angrily at some imaginary animal only she could see.

"What will be over?" Special asked the strange woman as she seemed to grow a third eye. Special shook her head rapidly and the eye disappeared. Trying to ignore further hallucinations, she said, "Maybe I should just rest."

lol, you guys crack me up.
"I'm trying to concentrate," her system squealed. The strain of the day was finally getting to her, and no matter how quickly she moved her hand she knew she'd need a lot of down time of her own to repair. With a few tweaks in Elle's opening, a generous portion of electro-magnetic sealing goo over some remaining wires, and a clean seal over top, she stepped back to admire the two. It was obvious someone had worked on them, and they were pretty difficult to re-wire, Ace had done an amazing job on them, but they would run fine until Ace returned for a full scan by her likings. Dalia tapped her still glowing blue energy scythe to Tina's forehead then to Elle's, waking them from their 'powerdown'. "Welcome back you two, how do you feel?"

"Were you asking me or my twin?" asked Special, completely oblivious to the fact that Dalia wasn't talking to her and that she was imagining that she had a twin.

She stirred, hearing the voice behind her. Had she really not even noticed Special who had talked to herr she thought to herself. Dalia looked around trying to find the strange voice, when she saw a paper beside her. Man, I must have REALLY been out of it. "Um....Tina and Elle...," she said slowly as she sank to her knees from all the strain. She'd have to wait out the remainder of the blue cell battery(as it is more potent and well...melts it's cartridge once inserted and can't be removed without making her vulnerable for hours while she rests and cleans its chamber) "You alright there?"

Suddenly, while thinking about rainbows and butterflies, reality decided to come along and slap Special in the face. Everything hit her at once as she realized exactly what had happened. Laura had nearly killed her by possessing her body. She felt anger, then sadness, followed by confusion. So many emotions conflicted within her that she didn't know what to think. Special sat down slowly and put her head in her hands. Why did life always have to be so complex?
