[Hauntedheart smiled slightly at Cinderwing, remembering how she had felt, and still did at times, when Foxclaw had died. She flicked her tail and let out a sigh.]
"Well, if you ever need to talk, my den's always open" she mewed gently.

[Darkshadow wanted to leave. But instead he stayed with Shatteredfang.]"Please, love. Tell me whats wrong?"[Darkshadow said sweetly.] I hear you, in my dreams.

[Hauntedheart nodded calmly. She remebered when Foxclaw died she didn't want to talk to any cat. Not that she could tell anyone the truth, but she couldn't even talk to herself about her mate's death. It was something she wnated to forget but it had only caused her more pain. The she-cat blinked and sifted her paws. Was she feeling nervous? No she couldn't be. The smokey gray she-cat let out a sigh and gazed at the sky. Was Foxclaw watching over her right now? The medicine cat then turned her gaze back to Cinderwing.]
"It's alright, I understand what you're going through, one hundred percent" she mewed softly and then smiled warmly at Cinderwing.

-No idea owo. Squirrels really do kill baby ducks D: Sometimes-
[Ducky glanced at the cat, but kept her pose, her small snarl curving through her muzzle. 'I can do this. I can do this.']
[Ducky took a deep breath and perked her ears.] "I think... it's go-Ahh!" [Ducky dove to the ground her paws covering her eyes, as squirrel jumped through the underbrush, it's small, beady eyes scanned the two kittens, as it paused sniffing for a second, when "Quack!" The squirrel shot off, disappearing into the treetops.]
[Ducky,scared stiff, peeked from behind her paws.] "Is he gone?" She whimpered, quivering.

Then he just fell to the ground, sobbing. "YOU IDIOT" he screamed at Ducky. "I could have caught that and had the first food I've had in days!!"

[Shatteredfang sighed shakily, not wanting to tell Darkshadow. After a few minutes, she gave in.] "Cinderwing knows," she meowed, padding farther into the den. [She sighed, sitting down. Her legs wobbled slightly. Her paws felt almost as heavy as the rest of her. She felt exhausted.
She suddenly felt something prod her belly. She yowled, her head whirling around to face Darkshadow. He was still far away. She hissed slightly, feeling the same prod again. What was touching her? Where is your mother, it's getting late.
Says harvest moon o'er the lapping waves,My friend fly south or end your days. Oh silver moon, it's here I stay, For I need my mother to show me the way.
Where can she be, I do not know,
I'm so alone and miss her so.   [Ducky edged away from the cat, slightly scared, and slightly annoyed.] "You know... I don't think you should keep up this depressing thing. It's bumming me out. And those... 'things' kill you!" [she earnestly squeaked at him.] "But back to the point. I bet there are tons of worms in this ground, you just have to..." She started digging, her pinprick claws scraping into the ground, until she finally found the little squirmy bug.] "Wala! Yum! Here I'll split it." [She sliced the worms in half, and scooted it over toward the kneeling cat.] "Yummm..." She added, trying to cheer him up at least. [OCC:[I dunno. Should I keep this posting style?]]
The owl flies o'er with a who and a who,
Have I a sad tale to tell to you.
Your mother a sorry fate did meet,
She's fallen to the foxes teeth.
Then let me freeze says the shivering bird,
I cannot bear another word.
For all the other ducks have flown
And my sorrow is a heavy stone.

My mama said, that if you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all! " Ducky sniffed, her pelt sticking out in tufts. 'Wait...' She sniffed again, and noticed that the cat was frozen in place. "Was that you?" She asked, her face crinkling up, in the sudden scent that had hit her. "Cause if it was, no wonder no one wants you around" [Ducky perked up her ears] "Oh sorry! Never mind" [She apologized.] "No really. Was it you?" [OCC:[Yayyy!!! >w<]]
