Garin rocked back on his heels a bit and tears started to fall down his face as his rational mind surfaced again. Now he was afraid of what he had done while he was like that. It could have been anything!

Aquaria saw the tears falling down Garin's face and tentatively lowered the shield. "Garin," she said, fighting tears. Though the shield was down, she made no move towards him.

Garin, however, made a move towards Aquaria. He needed to hold her so much.

Aquaria hugged Garin as he came towards her. "Garin," she said quietly, burying her face in his hair. Her wings had still not disappeared.

"What have I done?" Garin asked, burying his face into her shoulder.

Aquaria let Garin continue crying as she petted his hair. "It's alright, everyone's fine." She looked down at her ankle, which now had several long scratches from where Garin had tried to pull her down.

"It's just a little scratch," she said, looking at the long lines on her foot and ankle.

"You're bleeding," Garin replied, looking, at her legs, numbly. To him, they seemed like long ugly gashes spewing blood. And he had caused that.
