"Figure of speech, and we are not going up against the whole military! that would cause a national up-roar. We are going after a single rouge general with a handful of forces and maybe a few helicopters. Either way, I don't have a mission even ready, so you will have to wait for a briefing" said skotti, turning away from rom, back to luciano.
"Uh, yeah, I think, we might want to call them in a little bit to make sure that they actually got the job done, Pen had a mischievous look on her mug" said skotti.

"Hmmm. ." Luciano scratched his head, ". . . I've no idea what could be on her mind." he said admittedly. He finished off his cup of coffee and then he looked over at Skotti, ". . . Sorry for what I said to you. . We both did what we could." he swallowed hard. Normally he was never the first to apologize to anything, but this time he thought he could. Mostly because he hated tension in the household.

Sabe was taken by surprise as Pen started up the motorbike and sped off. He was certainly not used to barreling down roads at 50mph minimum.
Did we even bother with helmets? No. She better not crash this motorcycle.

Luciano put his hand out to shake Skotti's, "If we're going to be taking on the Gaian Military, then we'll need to do this together." he was being very sincere, he hated be angry at his friends.

Well I got him on the bike now to make sure he won't find his way back.
Pen went down a few long cuts and one way streets. Each a little unncesary in their own way. Pen was telling truth when she didn't admit having a plan. Really she was making things up as she went along this time. Originally she wasn't planning on picking Waffle up since Pen was unaware of her condition.
Now she had something else in mind.
Pen's smile grew as they finally saw the hospital in the distance. One day you will appericate pushy friends. They get things done.

Sabe looked off into the distance as Pen was taking a more 'scenic' route. He already knew that Pen was lying to begin with and decided to go along with it.
You'll be eventually regretting this, Pen. If you think I'm dumb, you're certainly mistaken.

Pen arrived at the hospital parking lot and came to a slow halt . "Had fun?" she smirked, parking the bike.

Sabe laughed nervously.
"Ehehehe...yeah. I'm not used to motorcycle riding though." he said as he got off the bike.

"I thought as much," as she rubbed her sides. "I haven't been hugged that hard in a long while." Pen seemed a little sad by that thought but quickly dismissed it. "Shall we go in?" She was smug and bowed holding her arm out in the direction of the hospital main lobby.

If anime-styled sweatdrops were possible, it could easily be applied to Sabe.
"Assuming it's the correct hospital we're at, then yes." he responded, still wary of Pen's expression.

Pen got up from her bow and returned to her more normal stature. With a tired smile and small nod she walked towards the lobby.
"I assure you there is one hospital that we go to in the case of major injuries. And thats where we are."

Sabe was still mildly confused.
"Makes sense....I guess." he said with uncertainty as he followed Pen into the the lobby.

"You guess? Really Sabe the injuries we receive to get here are quite substantial. We found this hospital to be the best in ER care and it does help that one of the doctors is an elf herself."
Pen said casually. She wasn't one for hospitals due to the atmosphere of panic and uneasiness. Though with the good doc Aderaline, she could get in and out without much trouble. Still wasn't all that comfortable though.
