Marluxia, The Graceful Assassin....
User Image
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! I WILL KILL THAT LAME KEYBLADE BEARER, I SWEAR!" Marluxia growled, pacing. Stupid boy. LAUGH? AT HIM?! Oh, wanted to murder the boy. He wanted to dissect him, and get Vexen to painfully..remove his DNA, or something. He stomped around angrily, in the middle of the hallway. He heard some teachers around, but they seemed a bit scared of him. With good reason. They had every right to be.

He had nothing to do. He certainly wasn't going back there. EVER. But he needed to know what went on, he needed to keep tabs on them. Infiltrate their group, or some such. (As if that were to happen) He almost felt for Riku, having to do this every day, with the same darkness and hatred, but dismissed it. He hated the boy, so didn't like the thought.

What to do now.... he thought, less angry. But he paid for that one thing earlier, and munny was hard to get without a job. And NO WAY was he getting a JOB, AND going to school. Oh, god no. No way in any world would that happen. And that damn keyblade bearer would tell all his friends...they would get a laugh. AND HE WOULD KILL THEM ALL. Then he got rid of that idea as well, because...well.....he was obviously outnumbered, and probably would be driven out as a psycho. He missed the secrecy of Castle Oblivion.... You could do anything, and the only one who would care was the one who was about to die.

He looked at the flier, the one for the dance, again. Marly didn't particularly feel like going, but, once again, he had nothing better to do. He groaned, and looked at a clock that hung above the school, in the center. At least it seemed class was nearly ending. He checked his schedule, and frowned. Another bad class....biology? Ugh. Vexen's job.

....And Schoolboy.

The boy in front of her turned around, his raven hair gleaming and taking on an almost purplish hue in the sunlight. His eyes captured hers; the color a deep red. Hm. If he wanted to fit in or not attract attention he'd have to fix that. Rikia let her illusion fade away as she blinked and when her eyes opened once more they were the same color as Aros'. Well, she'd caught his name alright, as well as the snooty tone that he held with her, causing her to raise a brow and cross her arms over her chest. Before she could speak, Aros continued on, stating that he knew her. Well, no freaking duh. They'd been a part of the same darkness... sort of. Darkness that had leaked from Sora and into Kairi's heart. Seemed as though Aros knew that much but he didn't know her name. At that she smiled. "Rikia," She purred out her name. "It seems both our names are wordplays to those of our insignificant counterparts."

Her smile soon faded the moment Aros spoke again. His high and mighty attitude riled her and her crimson eyes flashed. The girl scowled, her mouth settling into a snarl and fangs gleaming in the light. So he thought he was in charge?! And he thought he knew her. Rikia hissed, her expression dark and deadly and she glared at him when he finished. "If you think you're in charge of me, you're wrong. I'm not like the darkness that bows to your every whim. Kairi may be the Princess of Light but I'm her opposite, Aros. The Princess of Darkness and a Princess does not bow down to anyone. If I were you, I'd be more careful as to what you say to me, understand?" She asked him, slowly approaching him. "You say you know me... are you quite sure you do? Granted, I don't doubt that you honestly think yourself to be better than me but allow me to enlighten you. The most dangerous type of Darkness is that which has thrived and lived through the light. I may not be completely embedded within the darkness but that makes me just that more dangerous, wouldn't you agree?" Rikia asked him, raising a hand. Darkness swirled around it and then suddenly became lighter to form a sense of light though it changed back to Darkness very quickly. Closing her hand it vanished. "I can control both. Though Darkness is much easier, I must admit. I have limited control over the light. And that's something you can't do now, isn't it?" Rikia taunted.

The Dark Princess looked away from him briefly, out over the ocean before she put on a seductive grin as she turned back to Aros. "I don't help anyone other than myself. I do what's going to benefit me. I've no reason to tell you my plans nor do I have reason to follow your orders. Yet, you intrigue me all the same so I'll offer you a proposition as I do believe your goals may be similiar to mine." She said, staring straight into his eyes and pasuing for a brief moment. A smile lit her pocelain face again as her lips parted and her bell-like voice rang out. "We either work together and complete our goals all the quicker with the aid of one another, or not at all." Like Aros, Rikia knew Kairi's feelings for Sora but she felt no connection with the being in front of her, other than that she knew he could benefit her just as she could benefit him. However if he believed she would allow him to be in charge and control her, he was sorely mistaken. A Princess did not bow down to anybody.

Rikia. That was her name. Aros was able to mix around the letters fairly quickly to find that it could be Kairi. She pointed that out shortly after he made the discovery himself, so he just nodded. He saw her eyes flash dangerously as he continued to talk, but that didn’t stop him. Once he’d finished, the girl had advanced on him threateningly, but he didn’t budge an inch or even move his eyes from her. He just kept that same arrogant smile on his face as she approached and he returned her glare down at her. He was taller than her, so it wasn’t really intimidating.
”Just because you are part light and I have none doesn’t mean you are stronger,” he pointed out flatly. ”You seem to forget that I’ve been in the same heart as the strongest light in all the worlds. If I can handle that, I’d suppose that we’re at least on the same level.”

Aros wasn’t about to have this girl thinking she was better than him. She wasn’t, for all he was concerned. But he wouldn’t continue to argue it. As much as he hated to admit it, he’d need her help eventually. That was why he was about to do something very interesting and fun today: Get another ally. But now he had to focus on her. When it came down to it, he knew he wouldn’t be able to bring down Sora alone, due to all of his friends being by him every waking moment. So he would need some powerful help, not just Heartless.
”Fine,” he spat, still not looking away. ”I suppose that we shall be in a partnership then. I help you get your heart, you help me get mine. Sounds fair. But… there’s one thing I’ve been thinking about since I met you… The Key-Bearers have always had their group of three. I suppose we need a Riku, hm?” He smirked devilishly, finally turning away to look off the cliff at the school.”If what you’re planning involves that dance tonight, then we’re thinking alike.” He turned towards her, raising his brow in a very mischievous manner. He then took a large step towards her, taking her hand and staring into her eyes. ”Be my date for the ball. After all, it is formal. Besides, I think it’d be more dramatic that way, hm?” He laughed darkly before releasing her and pulling up his hood. ”But first, I have other plans. I’ll be back shortly. If you can, try to keep the others occupied or something. I‘ll need Riku alone for this to work.” A Corridor of Darkness opened and Aros stepped inside. Today was going to be way too much fun for him.

Enid Was released from class early to help with the preparation for tonights christmas dance.
Not many people volunteered and she liked it like that.
There would be no one making fun of her, taunting her about being alone.
She climbed up some tall ladders and began putting bows around the sides of the gym.

"I wish it was time for the dance" blink said quietly.
"I wish we could miss the classes today" blink just looked at the bored as the teacher was writing down notes.
He copied him.

While looking foir someone to talk to, the school bell rang. Lakayna covred her ears to somewhat mute the noise, now trudging off to English; her first class. She entered the room, seeing that Kairi was there but not Namine. Lakayna took a seat beside Kairi and took her English notebook out and started copying down the teacher's notes that were being written on the board.

Class was dragging on longer than usual. Maybe it was becuase everyone was excited for the dance at night, or because it was the day before Christmas and no one wanted to be in school. It could've even been a combination of both. Whatever it was, it felt like time had slowed to an almost completely stop. Lakayna could almost feel each excruciatingly long second slowly creping by.

The few months couldn't have gone more faster after the events of Halloween Town. Hikari had been busying herself more than ever with school. After speaking with her daughter, Shock had decided to stay in Halloween Town with her friends Lock and Barrel with her mother's promise that she would visit again soon. Today was Christmas Eve and the last day of school for the year. Waking up from the bed she slept in at Alexander's house, she got dressed in her usual school uniform and walked with him to school. She had also heard of the dance that was to take place a few hours after school. No one had asked her to the dance as of yet, and she hadn't searched for a dress to wear for such an occasion. She hadn't really planned on going in the first place. She had never danced before and feared that things would be too awkward. But she was still a little curious about how it would be like, so she decided that if she was asked then she would go. Until then, she simply went to school and concentrated on her classes, waiting for it to move along.

Glad that Halloween had ended on a favorable note with Lakayna, Axel spent the next few months either going to school, hanging out with Roxas or going out with Lakayna. His tickets were sitting at his apartment, waiting to be used to get them into the ball so they could chat, eat small party foods, drink punch while praying that it wasn't spiked, and probably the most terrifying part of the whole dance, at least to most of the guys, dancing. As much as he liked Lakayna and looked forward to going to the ball with her, the thought of dancing in general made him shudder. That was the only kind of heat he would hesitate in taking. He sighed as he headed to Social Studies, feeling the same painful slowness of the clock as everyone waited for the school day to end.

Roxas could only wish that his Halloween adventure ended on at least a neutral note compared to Sora, Kairi, Axel and Lakayna's venture. With the decision Namine made to stay away from both he and Riku until she can figure out who she wanted to be with, Roxas reluctantly complied and kept his distance, despite the feelings he felt from Sora whenever he was with Kairi. With the occasional bar of sea-salt ice cream with Axel and talking to Sora, Roxas somehow made it through the months until christmas came upon them, and with the holiday came the christmas ball at their school. As he sat down in his class, his mind was in turmoil. Sora, do you think Namine would go to the christmas dance with me? he asked through their link as he wrote down notes in his English class. He looked around a bit. She's not even in class. he added, chewing on his lower lip.

Kairi looked up from her English book when she heard someone sit down beside her. She turned and saw Lakayna sitting next to her. "Hi Lakayna!" the Princess smiled, happy that at least one of her friends was in class today. She continued writing down notes as she whispered to the lavendernette, "Excited for the Christmas Ball tonight? You're going with Axel right?"

As she waited for the dragoness to reply, the crimsonette looked around to see if maybe Naminé had shown up. She didn't see Naminé, but she did see another blonde Nobody. She hadn't even noticed Sora's Other come in. While the teacher was busy, Kairi leaned over and whispered to him with a smile, "Hey Roxas. How have you been?"

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Sora had been resting his head in his hand while his elbow was on his desk as he listened to the lesson. At one point, he lifted his head when he heard someone yelling out in the hall. He smirked, knowing all to well that it was Marluxia. He was very tempted to just go out there and mess with him. Doing that might get him away from the school, which would put him much more at ease. But today was Christmas Eve, and he really didn’t want to go the dance with a huge gash in his back from the pinkette’s scythe. So he restrained himself and kept listening to the lesson. Axel had walked in and he’d given him a brief wave. He wondered if he was still hanging out with Roxas, despite what had happened at Halloween Town. The two were always good friends, so he supposed they still had to be close. That blue-haired girl from that night was also in class today. ((Again, this is Skyler. You said she had the same schedule as Sora, so let me know if it’s different and I’ll edit)) He was curious about her, as in how she’d gotten to another world and exactly who she was, but he didn’t ask.

Sora then heard a voice in his head. As a reflex, he looked up, thinking it was an announcement. He was soon proved to be wrong when he finally registered that it was Roxas. Whoa, he was talking to him!? He was a little surprised. They really hadn’t hung out that much. Every now and then, sure, but the brunette had always thought he was distant, and guessed that he was frustrated with him for making Naminé take a break from him. Roxas asked him if he thought Naminé would go to the dance with him. This made him swallow hard as he thought. He looked around the room as the Nobody said Naminé wasn’t in class. Riku wasn’t either.
I don’t know, he thought back honestly. Kairi said she’s still pretty distant, so I think she might not be ready. If she is, then she’ll ask, I’m sure of it. I’m a little worried, though. Riku’s not in class… He wondered if he should have told him that. Don’t do anything stupid. He added this quickly, knowing that Roxas would just love to skip class and go fight Riku. He didn’t want that though. Roxas had to know where he stood on all of this. Of course he wanted Naminé to be with Roxas, but he wasn’t going to try and make things end up that way. But he would help Roxas if he could. And he doubted Roxas starting a fight would make Naminé any more willing to go to the dance with him tonight.

While writing notes, Lakayna heard Kairi's voice sound quietly beside her. The dragon girl's gold eyes looked over to the Princess inconspicuously, her lips smiling. "Yeah, I'm going, and with Axel too," she replied back in a whisper, "And I don't need to ask to know you're going with Sora."

Lakayna's eyes wandered over to Roxas when Kairi said his name. The look her had on his face; Lakayna felt bad for him. She looked back down to her notes, twiddling her pencil in her fingers. It wasn't hard to guess what the spiky blonde was upst about. "There's other girls if it can't be her..." she muttered, "Like maybe...Xion."

Lakayna was a pretty good reader of peoples' expressions, even a Nobody's.

The crimsonette smiled when Lakayna whispered in reply that she was going to the ball with Axel. Kairi then beamed when the lavendernette said that she didn't need to ask to know that Kairi was going with Sora. The Princess giggled then whispered back, "Cool. Hee hee yes you're right, I'm going with Sora. The four of us should hang out for a bit tonight. And I can't wait to see your dress!" The red head went back to her notes, but kept an eye and ear out for Roxas. He didn't look too happy, and Kairi didn't blame him. She just hoped she could help.

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Rikia had to admit that Aros had a point. He'd been born from a heart that was strong and held a pure light within it. Aros ended their arguement by stating that they were at least on the same level and though her eyes flashed again, Rikia decided to let it go. After all, she could use his help and if they were to be partners, she didn't want to waste time spent on pointelss arguing. Even though it was rather amusing to see his reactions.

Her smile widened and she clapped her hands together, giving a peal of musical laughter when he agreed that they were to be partners. He'd help her get her heart and in return she'd help him get his. Aros went on to mention that upon meeting her, there was something that he'd been thinking about. Interesting. There was something she'd been thinking about as well. The legendary hereos were the Trio of Light. Three of them. In that case, didn't they need a... Her thoughts were interrupted when Aros spoke the name aloud. 'Riku.' So he'd been on the same page as her. Aros smirked devishly and Rikia grinned, looking like a beautiful, malicious, porcelain doll.

Aros turned away from her and looked off the cliff. Allowing her gaze to follow his, she found herself looking at Destiny High. Her nose scrunched up and her lips pulled into a pout. That place was so dead-set boring! Aros turned back to her after a moment and Rikia looked up at him, wondering what he was up to as he raised a brow and a look of mischief passed over his face. He said that if what she was planning involved the Dance then they were thinking alike. Hmmm, they seemed to make a good team already. Aros suddenly closed the distance between them in one step, and soon she found herself having to look up to see his face. Aros took her hand and stared into her eyes and she gazed back into his crimson ones, a playful look on her features. He asked her, well no, not asked, that wasn't the right word... rather he requested she be his date to the ball as it was formal after all and it'd be more dramatic that way. Rikia grinned, her beautiful face shining with a mischievous glitter and she gave her beautiful, chilling laugh.
"But of course, Aros. I cannot think of any other person I'd rather go with." Rikia said with a giggle. It was perfect. Aros was handsome and would compliment her nicely. They'd make a wonderful pair at the ball. And it would be oh-so-fun to see the look on Kairi's face when Rikia, who Kairi and the others believed to just be another student, set abour ruining the little Princess' life. Aros released her and pulled up his hood, informing her that he had other plans to deal with but he'd be back shortly. Until then if she could keep the others occupied or something, that'd be good as he needed to get Riku alone for his plan to work. A Corridor of Darkness apeared behind him and Aros stepped inside. Rikia was now alone on the cliff. The Dark Princess lifted her head and let her laugh ring out and be carried by the wind as she lowered her head and turned to look at the school. Oh, today was going to be much fun indeed.

Rikia waved a hand and created a Corridor of Darkness as well and she stepped inside. The Dark Princess dissapeared from the cliff and reappeared beside the school. Heading to the nearest door, she entered it and slipped inside. Luckily, she ran into no other teachers or students but as she didn't want to go to her first period and it was soon to be time for second period, she waited, leaning against the locker she'd been assinged too in the hallway, smiling as she thought she'd finally get to interact with Sora and his friends. But first... blinking her eyes, they were back to a friendly amber and she masked her dark aura and smiled without revealing her fangs. Right. Now she was ready to 'make nice' with the Keyblade Master and his little do-gooder group.

[[Uh, wolfgirl? I thought Skyler had the same classes as Sora. Meaning she wouldn't be in Kairi's class.]]
