Sergeant JJ I don't know how the west coast's beaches are, but NC has some beautiful beaches... and Florida had a beautiful beach until those idiots messed it up. I am was born and raised in NC, but oddly enough I detest most country music. I have always been pulled in every other way other than country music. (But yeah, Shania Twain really is a beautiful woman.) I tend to like Emerald Isle/Atlantic Beach. Though I've found more shark's teeth at Topsail Island. Do you have a favorite NC beach? Do you like bagpipe music?

Harvey_Kinkle Thanks for the spelling. Shania... awesome. What is it with dudes messing up their relationships with their gorgeous women -- Mutt Lange, Tiger Woods, Hugh Grant. Are they blind? Don't forget Jesse James. They're blind and, apparently, mentally handicapped. stressed

I haven't been to enough beaches to have a favorite I would say... but that isn't exactly the truth. I like Ocean Isle. It is quiet, quaint, and just plain nice. All that you ever hear from the outside world is the sound of the sea. You don't hear the thumping of stereos. You don't hear the sound of the rats of the sky. You don't hear a lot of people being loud. All that you hear is the sound of the waves. It is beautiful and tranquil. Of course, there may be a better beach to go to that I don't know about, but I really have no idea. Do I like bagpipe music? Of course, I love bagpipe music. I prefer the sound of actual bagpipes to that of synthesized bagpipes, though.

It might be worth the extra miles to get there. I checked it out on Wikipedia. It has a pier and a planetarium too. Cool.

Good thing I don't mind talking to myself. I find myself to be pretty good company. Always polite. Often funny. ROTFL I hope the thread regulars are busy having a good time.

Old pictures will be great. Do you use those disposable cameras? That's what I do on vacation. I don't like to "expose" (sorry ... lol) my good cameras to the sand, sea or wild weather I might encounter.

Like I said, no rush on the photos. No problem if they're old. The place probably doesn't change much.
Hehe it looks like the Overseer is inside the aquarium Easter egg. I just had to give it a tap. lol
