Kai concentrated and looked over at the hidden man. His sight was heightened to help him see who the person was, "Is that right?" He asked.

It was the man from earlier that had first asked about the servant. "Yes that's right," he said, picking up a knife. He knew this wasn't Shiro.

Kai gave a toothy smile, "Mess with me again and you won't live to regret it," The air around him suddenly stilled and became icy cold. His transparent Angel wings appeared on his back, "I have grown very attached to Serah. If you or your men so much as looks in her direction again..." His eyes met with the man and the image of the man and Shiro perishing from blue flames burned into the man's mind, "It won't be pleasant," He finished and turned around towards where he came from.

"I think we understand each other," Kai said and snapped his fingers. The air returned to normal. It was almost like time started up again even though time was not affected. His wings disappeared and he continued walking back.

Shiro had disappeared by the time Kai reached that spot again.
Rajei was getting worried that something had happened. "Is he okay?" she asked Yami.
