Miguel sighed a little. he bolted away, still keeping in his own visual range. he popped up out of the ground, two lightly armed corpses next to him, just in case.

Dawn broke and the wolves streached and changed back to their other forms.

Miguel leaned against a tree, playing with ball of energy. "wow... i could probably take them all out right now..." he laughed lightly to himself, shaking his head. he mumbled, "few days ago... i probably wouldve..."

The Beast lord echod power as he stoud there surrounded by his wolves. He growled at the smell of undead, but started to lead them back.

one of the corpses fidgeted a little bit. it was recently dead, so it still had a bit of will left. it darted out on its own accord. it cleared about 2/3 of the distance between itself and the wolves before Miguel could react. he flicked his arm, as if using a bullwhip. a long whip of dark energy shot out, striking the corpse directly in the back of the neck, creating a collar of energy around its neck. it made a sort of yelping noise as its neck stopped, and it fell to the ground backward. Miguel muttered, "dammit..."

The beast lord bellowed and a hoard of wolves came charging.

Miguel gritted his teeth. "dammit." he yanked back the energy 'leash'. the corpses head came clean off, but the corpse stood up, headless. it jumped back, taking its position behind Miguel. a bone sword emerged from the ground, and Miguel grabbed it, taking a defensive stance.

The beast lord slammed into Miguel. He heard a bone crack.

Miguel, just before the contact, positioned himself, so he could kick off the ground. this launched him farther back, distancing himself. he hunched over slightly, clutching his chest with one arm. he coughed a few times, a bit of blood coming up. "damn..." his arms began glowing with dark energy. he looked up, straight into the eyes of the beast lord, glaring. to a skilled warrior, which Miguel knew the beast lord was, it was a challenge. Miguel wasnt going to make the mistake of making the first offensive move after this point.

Miguel coughed again, but was straightening his posture a bit. he spat out the blood that was still in his mouth, though it had already stopped flowing. he smirked. "alright..." he held his blade up, ready. "but i play rough..."

The beast lord lowered into a fighting stance, "A rabbit might try to n**, but I always rip out it's throat in the end."

Miguel smirked more. he leaned his head back, and patted his neck. "come get it."

The beast lord smiled preditory and blurred he was beside Miguel and he slammed miguel's side with his fist.

Miguel, after taking the punch, darted away from the beast lord, but only a few yards or so. he clutched his side. he coughed. "you hit hard." he chuckled. he sank under ground and in an instant, was behind the beast lord. without hesitating, he kicked the back of his neck. "i hit harder."
