Morning. Finish your soup then get some rest. You'll need it.
Pander finished his soup and began to talking to himself. His voice changed between his own and that of Jangen. Both spoke of long trainning hours for Pander in the near future and the consiquences and changes if Pander and Yume did marry.
Both ranted on good and bad points as Pander washed his empty bowl in the sink. Jangen won with the "having a mate would give you confidence and motivation" idea. Pander thought this untrue but accepted it from his teacher and friend.

"If he's dieing then go help him!" Meghan scolded him. "Don't just let him die.... unless it's Mergex, then it's okay," she sighed, "but go check.. stop standing there." She looked up at Misa. "You sure you're okay, Misa-san?"
"She's right, Gordon-san," Sai said, agreeing with Meghan. "If it is indeed Shepard, then someone's going to have to get to him before he dies." He looked at his shoulder, feeling something land there, to see it was Kei, but turned his attention back to Kaori.

" You guys don't listen very well do you? HE to far away! When I get to him he might already be dead! I cannot run that fast nor can I fly yet!" Gordon yelled. He never got this angrey. Suddenly he turned around.
" Oh no I can't feel it anymore...no wait..he's closer" Gordon said running back to the Dorms.

Kaori watched Kai as he picked up her weapons and heaved a shaky sigh. Slowly, she pushed herself to her feet, gently laying her hand on Sai's other shoulder to help herself. "Sorry," she mumubled after, and quickly released him once she was up. Her legs threatened to buckle beneath her, but she closed her eyes again and regained her balance. She whimpered softly as she opened just the left eye and approached Kai, taking the weapons from him. First she hid the dagger back inside her jacket, and then the sword against her back.
Then she wandered to the nearest tree and leaned against it, the arm not holding her eye now wrapped around herself. It still burned just as much as before but she tried to hide it. Yet, once again her tail kept thrashing, this time thumping loudly against the tree. Tears were still running down her face freely, but it couldn't be determined if it was only from the pain or from her really crying. She'd tried distancing herself from the others, not used to being the center of attention and actually disliking it.
She watched Misa through her left eye, frowning as she fell. "Are... you ok?" she asked, forcing her voice to stay steady. It was still faint though. At her comment about 'Kaori needing the most attention', Kaori winced. "No, I don't." she mumbled. "Are you sure you're fine?" Her eyes flicked towards Gordon as he spoke, eye widening slightly. She looked off in the direction he turned, as if it were possible to actually see what was going on. She grit her teeth angrily. She'd met Shepard, and she certainly didn't want him to die. Not to mention, it'd give Mergex a victory and she desperately wanted to tear his throat out. "Well every moment you waste here is one that could be spent getting to him!" she growled softly at Gordon, nodding as he finally left.
Kai watched everything in silence, not hesitating before handing Kaori her weapons. He had flinched though, as he saw her trying to stand. His eyes followed as she crossed to the tree, trying to escape the attention that was on her. He frowned, closing his eyes. That wouldn't help... He looked towards Misa as well, wondering what had happened, but didn't ask. After all, she'd said she was fine. But she'd also made a big deal about Kaori needing help, when she didn't really. She was just making Kaori even more uncomfortable, wether she meant to or not. He grunted slightly, finding the very thought annoying. As Gordon ran off, he fought the urge to follow after him. He'd known Shepard as well, and honestly hoped he wasn't the loser in the fight...

Yume was brushing her hair in her room when she heard the word mate. A mate? He already has one? Then why did he...why would Jangen-dono say that? Maybe he didn't mean for it to sound like that...but...still...he had...led me on... Yume choked on tears. She muffled her sobs with her long sleeved night shirt. How could he do that to her? He stole her first kiss too...what was she going to do? Pretend that it didn't matter? That was almost impossible...he'd been too deeply engraved into her heart for her to just forget about him like that... What am I going to do? I can't live like this...I have to run away... She whispered quietly to herself, now knowing that the stone walls echoed. How could he do this to me? How could he?

Don't listen too deeply into our conversations Yume. They tend to get confusing and do to you, what happens to most people. We were talking about you. No matter how it sounds, I don't have another in my life.
He punched the side of his head lightly then walked into the guest room and over to Yume, leaning down and kissing her on the lips gently. He smiled at her. He didn't need sleep right now. He could go days without it thanks to his trainning.
While you sleep, I'll polish your weapons while I do mine.
He smiled again. This was the first thing he was really going to do for her. Polish her sword... Oh well. It shows I care when I do things for people.

Meghan watched as Gordon started off. "now he leaves," she said under her breath, frustrated. She looked over at Kaori, jumping up. "Kaori-chan, you shouldn't be moving, it'll make the pain worse because you're thinking!" she exclaimed, trying to help her. "If you tried to sleep or something, then it'd be better, wouldn't it?" she asked, thinking of knocking Kaori out so she'd wake up and hopefully feel nothing.

Yume hiccupped. So, there wasn't another girl? It was all just a big mis-understanding? But, now that she felt the pain of losing him, or thinking that she almost lost him, she didn't want to let him go. She got up off the bed and hugged Pander around the waist. Don't leave me, okay? Please, don't leave me... She started to cry again. Promise you won't leave!

Kaori leaned more heavily on the tree, one hand still clasped tightly over her eye. Her left opened to watch Meghan as the girl sprang up and approached her. "N-no, I'm fine," Kaori muttered, wincing because she let the stammer escape again. "I really am. I can handle this, it's nothing..." She smiled slightly at the girl's suggestion. "I don't think I could sleep if I tried though," she murmured, tail cracking loudly against the tree as if to disprove her words.
Then her unhurt eye darted towards Misa as she screamed and she jumped slightly in surprise. "You don't... sound fine," she frowned. "Or look it either." She looked towards the woods, catching Lighttt's scent before he burst into the scene shortly after. Kaori watched silently, still clutching her right eye, as Lighttt seemed to panic and then Misa started crying. She blinked in confusion. "What are you talking about?" she asked, fist clenched once again from the pain. "If there is a curse, then it must have a way to be broken. All curses do!" She leaned further back on the tree, grunting softly as she bowed her head. "Y-you won't d-die..." she whispered faintly, suddenly growing dizzy.
Kai watched everyone through narrowed eyes, taking in all that was said. He smirked very faintly at Meghan's first comment. Thinking will hurt her worse? he wondered and then shook his head, staring at the floor, arms crossed over his chest. But he raised his head shortly after as Lighttt appeared and darted towards Misa. Kai listened silently to what was said and then frowned, for two reasons. One was that he could tell Kaori's disguise of being fine already was finally failing her, and the other from the news of Misa. He nodded at Kaori's words. "Curses always have a way to be broken," he agreed, staring at Misa and Lighttt. "You just have to find what it is."

Meghan nodded. "They're right," she agreed with Kaori and Kai. However, she turned back to Kaori. "You're not fine and you know it," she said spectically, "offal[sp?] suspicious if you ask me," she nodded, agreeing with herself. Seriously... knocking her out would be so much easier, she thought, sighing again.

Kaori placed her free hand to her head, sliding slowly down the tree until she came to a stop on the ground, still leaning against the trunk. "I-I'm fine..." she protested stubbernly, voice a soft whimper. "I am, r-really..." Her words trailed off as her eyes closed, the right still held tightly by her hand. "Misa needs h-help now.." Her tail ceased wacking the tree and fell limp beside her and Kaori's hand unclenched as she slid a bit further down the tree. Then she toppled over to her side, laying on the ground, both eyes closed. Tears streamed from her eyes still, and she bit back a whimper. "...has it been an hour yet?" she asked weakly.

[[haha. it's oki. I have to get off anyway -.- i'll be back later; good luck w. your project o.O wanna know what i learned today, though? the american and french troops beat the british at Yorktown during the revolution on October 19, 1701. interesting, right?]]
"nonesence, there's enough people here to help the both of you," she said to Kaori, sitting on the ground near her. Seeing her topple over, she moved closer before picking up Kaori's head and placing it on her lap. "You shouldn't just lay on the floor there; bugs, ya know?" she smiled, trying to comfort Kaoir.

Kaori's face flushed red as she realized her head had been placed in Meghan's lap, but she lacked the energy or will to move. Instead she sighed softly, wincing as the noise turned to a whimper accidentally. Her eyes were still closed as she murmured softly, "I don't mind bugs..." She knew that probably sounded horrible, but she currently didn't care. Her tail twitched every now and then, not preforming its usual vigorous swings and thrashings. Her face was wet with the tears that just kept coming. "Has it been an hour yet?" she asked again, just as meekly.
[Haha, I'm not in a history class right now. =P One more page, plus the cover left of my book! Ah, and I have to add the labels in to every page...]

Meghan sighed, shaking her head. "Almost, Kaori-chan, so don't worry," she said hopefully. In truth, she didn't know, but it did seem like it; the sun had moved a fair amount since she'd slid here. She looked at Sai for a moment, before turning back to Kaori. "You don't mind bugs?" she repeated, trying to keep everyones mind off the incedent.
