Ayane battles a galactic space pirate and loses, then told that in order for her to live, she must destroy the planet.
Also very plausible.

I doubt that though, she would still be doing a guy's evil bidding and thus becoming evil herself. Thus she would no longer be neutral in her Chaotic Neutral alignment.

See, you're not looking at the bigger picture. Ayane doesn't care what the dude wants, all she cares about at that point is her own survival. If she survives, she can fulfill her goal. If she dies, she cannot. So she will destroy the planet if that means she lives and no, it isn't evil.
It's like saying some psychopath takes a man's kid and says that the kid will die if he doesn't go through with killing another man. twisted twisted twisted twisted twisted twisted twisted twisted

Sera Trystfall Oh, it's the perfect alignment for absolute destruction. I will bring true balance to the world, returning it to the nature the humans had corrupted. No good, no evil...only nature. Hmm, so it's Nature versus Neutral. Haha. Oh, what about this scenario? All other intelligent life has been moved from Earth to another planet, because a bacteriophage has infected the planet's mantle. Soon it will explode and spread this virulence throughout the universe. The only way to stop it is to make the planet splodey before the virus reaches critical mass. Hmm? *eats emoticons*

Destroying a planet with sentient beings is evil, you'd be a mass murderer...

You're doing something evil to save your chaotic neutral life
In the psychopath case it's still a evil selfish action to preserve your own life by murdering someone else. Doesn't make the person evil but it is still a evil deed.

Then that would be considered a good move, if you're trying to save the universe. Ayane is an android so she won't be affected by a bacteriophage.
