"Yeah we are...it's funny though because we've only really gotten to know each other over the past little while you know?" Claire said whistfully. " It's this Island...it does things to people. I mean, before I never would have said that I would be able to fall in love with someone in that amount of time without even giving them more than a kiss you know? But now..."

"I never thought I'd fall in love until I was older...and now there's Sayid and that's something." Shannon gestured to the pile of wood, divided into what appeared to be two piles of logs and another that seemed to be turnings into what could only be described as flooring. "And I'm pregnant, with for all intensive purposes, my brother's baby and then Sayid is still sticking by me and he's building me a ******** house for Christ Sake."

"All of the men out here seem to be...like supermen, you know? They're all these great guys...well Locke kind of scares me and then there's Saywer but still..."

"So what do we do for this double date?" Sayid asked Boone quietly as they began to trudge towards the jungle line. Neither had left each other though neither knew why. Sayid tried to think of the clothes he'd packed and those he'd found and salvaged. Nothing seemed to suit the occaision. Knowing Shannon, the girls would be dressed up like models.

"I don't think I have anything that fits the occaision." Sayid confessed. They'd reached the line of trees. In the distance they could see Sawyer and a girl arguing. She seemed familiar to Sayid though he couldn't recall her name. "He always seems to charm them doesn't he?" He asked with a chuckle, indicating the the pair.

Heather snorted and turned the other way after he made that comment. She didn't see him turning the second time. She had a feeling that she's not going to be finding anyone to go with. For all she could tell, the guy she does decide to go for may think that it's something specal. Maybe going with Sawyer would be a better idea. He'll rag on her on it, but won't get all snuggly dubed.
Even if he does have feelings, Heather suspected that if he showed them it would ruin his image. Those glasses are messing with it as it was. She only took about four steps when she made the decision. She hated having to turn around to call after him, but when she turned she saw that he was looking her way again. "Get yourself ready."

Heather did her best not to laugh. "I'm not the gossiping kind of girl. Now if you would excuse me, I need to pick out an outfit, put on some make up, and style my hair. Good day."
And with that Heather went off over to where Shannon and Clair were at. Heather smilled sarcasticly, "Well, tonight sure is going to be interesting."

Not wanting Ava to leave Charlie inhaled the last of his food. He was enjoying this night and did not want Ava to leave yet. "Your very welcome. It wasn't any trouble getting you food. Yeah, this must be hell for thoese people who don't like fish. Like you said haveing to eat it every day. To top that everything smells like fish."

Charlie got the feeling that Ava didn't believe him. "No I'm serious. We swim with them and and bathe with them or at least on the beach they do. In the caves there is a shower. Have you been to the caves? Or do you like the scenery of the beach?" he asked since he couldn't remeber seeing Ava before today.
