Shoujo Phoenix What? So I get this random PM from this guy...
"IM TRYING TO LOOK LIKE U AND SO FAR IM DOING GOOD IM SELLING A OMG AND A LOT OF OTHER STUFF IF U WANT TO BUY"
And he copies my avatar exact minus the ports, chain wallet, and medal I had on my last avi. neutral
Then I come on to check out some stuff, and I see I have a trade. I check it out and it's a canceled trade from that guy with a little less than 14m worth of stuff asking to trade for my ports. He should have tried adding about 30m more or so rofl You's a popular one, ey?? heart

Cynder Note to all Deathnote fans! The first live action movie is freaking awesome! My Fiance and I saw it a while back thanks to a friend of hers. It cuts out a lot of the frilly bits, but focuses almost exclusively on the L vs. Light conflict. Haven't had a chance to watch the second one yet, but if it's anything like the first it should be awesome. Also, is it just me or does it look like L never sleeps and just lives on sugar? I've seen the 2nd part.. and all I will say is that it ends how the book should have ended.
An epic ending. Seriously.

Shoujo Phoenix Maybe I should block him. sweatdrop On one hand, that is a good idea. On the other...dude. You have a fanboy. That's just pwn right there. I'd hug him and pet him and call him George if I were you.

TweedleKeys hilaroma TweedleKeys hilaroma So I made it safely to SoCal and everything. Today we've been preparing everything for an early Thanksgiving dinner amongst friends. This is my first turkey I've cooked mostly by myself. I hope it turns out okay... sweatdrop Yay. Are you going to brine it? I found that worked well back when I used to do the full cooking thing. ...except that one year my oven filament burnt out 5 minutes into cooking the turkey on Thanksgiving day... no one would come to replace it for a week.I didn't brine it, I just kind of did what my parents usually do. Stuffed, basted, in a bag...and it's still cooking. I'll have to try a new method next time I do one of these, even if this does work out. Trying new things is fun! heart Ah, I didn't realize you guys were doing it that early. Sounds like it's pretty tried and true. Have fun and enjoy. I'm so happy because it actually turned out good. I was worried because I don't know how to carve a turkey, but one guy at our party mysteriously knew how so we were saved. whee In addition to the turkey (which was a collaboration effort, but mostly done by me) I also cooked mashed potatoes, gravy, and tonjiru (Japanese pork/miso soup with veggies and stuff) entirely by myself. The gravy was the only thing that was kind of a mis-fire because it just took forever to thicken. It was better than the other gravy miserable failure my friends tried making though. I am proud. lol My feet and back hurt so bad during and after cooking though, because I basically spent the whole day standing barefoot on stone tile cooking because my friends don't allow shoes in their house. sweatdrop

Ashram McDuck Ok guys, I've been keeping this to myself for a while but the situation hasn't been improving so I thought it time to bring things to light. About a month or so back I got the starting of a cold and had to skip work for most of that day. Thankfully I killed it before it got worse, but ever since then I've been noticing things about this climate that I don't think are having a good effect on me. Mostly its been tiny allergic reactions (just stuffiness really) but recently I've been having more allergic reactions that are starting to become more serious. (constant stuffiness mixed with that needing to sneeze feeling but never sneezing, congestion and just recently watering eyes whenever I so much as go outside) I'm going to talk to my boss about this today, because I fear that as it gets colder its going to get worse for me. It is a different climate than what I am used to ... but I did not have these problems when I was living in China. Maybe because it's so dry in the winter? It's especially hard if you're used to living in a moist climate. Regardless, I hope you can see a doctor and get something done about it because that really sucks. sad heart

Both Death Note movies were done really well. I was pretty impressed, especially with the overall ending. Like Nabs said, that's how it all should have ended. heart

Phoenix Goliathane @ Skizz: That sucks. My school district never did the delayed opening thing, but yeah. How bad is it for you? I just woke up this morning and we're getting flurries, but it's not sticking. Like 2-3 inches. Not much, but a lot considering it's not even December yet. gonk

Did you get the wishbone? heart I'm also from a no shoe house. (Ooooh stone tile ... I had some friends with a stone floor kitchen, I was so envious.)
