No benefits of winning alot at the battledome, just a nice record. For some people, you can get really good/better throphies though.

As for weapons, your pet can use even the strongest battledome weaopn at level one. The only weapons your pet can't use is if the weapon is specificly designed for another pet(like a Ruki wouldn't be able to use a kougra collar and stuff). Most weapons, are not pet specific though ^^

The only benefit with starting with higher values, is the less training to raise the stats you have. If you started out lower, than you would need to train more to reach what your bug has now 3nodding
