Ginji of Thunder I kinda want a portable version of PBR with mini games and such. Maybe for the 3DS so we can actually see 3D rendered Pokemon! O_o That would be awesome. For this, I'd bank on the universally-expected "third version" of Gen V.

Though I hope it would be better than a standard Pokemon game, with more emphasis on battling rather than training and then battling.

While I'm not going to be surprised at Gen 3 remakes, I'm not necessarily expecting them. Here's how I figure. Can you get Gen 1-2 into Gen 3 onwards? No. Can you get Gen 3 into Gen 5? Yes.

And @ RP: You guys are thinking of Rich Boy and Lady trainers. Lad and Lass are the young out-doorsy type that don't look like they belong in the Scouts.

Gray (grey?) might seem to make sense, but so far the "third version" hasn't been a compromise between the first two. Rather, it's been somehow complimentary.
@ RP: Between Brian and Ginji, it seemed like that's what you were thinking about. Brian's question didn't really seem relevant given the trainer matchup.

Random Ranger Update:
I've made minor progress on that one mission I've been stuck with. After some overdue upgrades on Magmortar, I've finally managed to reach the boss. However I'll still need more time if I hope to actually capture the Magnezone.
In between attempts, I've also been revisiting older temples, trying to get the boss slates. Forest Temple is clear, just need Tyranitar from the Fire Temple, and haven't really tried for the Ice Temple.

Edit update:
Caught Magnezone with 0:06 on the clock. *WHEW!* Nasty mission. I don't think I'll be getting the A-rank without a partner. Now I need to pick a potent Ground Assist partner for the next mission. Magmortar's great against a lot of Pokemon, but not so hot against Rock-types (like Golem).
Also got Tyranitar and Weavile's slates, next on my "hit list" is Feraligatr.

Edit update 2:
Finished out the Thunder Temple and the first mission in the Dark Temple, both with B-ranks. Magmortar is an incredible Temple Partner. His damage level is borderline obscene! I tested him out against Tangrowth, and from the start of the fight, one attack filled about 75% of the Friendship Guage and also both Agitated and calmed the foe. One shot. I eagerly await maxing out his assist level and power.
Still nothing new on the boss slates.

Woot, Atem's back. I had to go to the doctor because there was a growth on my body. Turns out it was a tail. But really, it's about zero degrees, my computers on strike, and I forgot about this guild. Anything important happen? Any deaths? Any births? Any RPing going ons that I have to know about?
