Akimbo hilaroma Akimbo hilaroma Streamjumper Zelyhon I want to meet AG people. On that note, how many AGers are planning to go to AX 08? If Luna and I get the jobs we're gunning for, we might be there. If not, then the next year. That would be so amazing. 4laugh heart Seriously, if I have no other reason to go to AX, I'll still go if it means meeting up with friends. Especially AG friends. heart We'll have to have a party or something when the AG meets up at AX. AG PARTAAAAAAAAAAY. With lots of booze for those of-age? surprised Of course. cool Let the mayhem begin!! 4laugh heart

Tsukamoto Yakumo 1-D RaeRae Rave Zero Omega RaeRae Rave TweedleKeys I take it that would be FanimeCon? Mhmm. Or at least I think we're going. Money and timing might be difficult. Indeed, Fanime. domokun Well, if I get lucky enough to get out of school Thursday or earlier, that'd help a LOT. . I could leave Thursday night. Did you ever check into buses, lazyface? Awww so you would miss Day 0 activities either way. Because if you guys are over 18 and don't have anything to do at Thursday and Friday nights, there may be staff positions that need filling by cool people. ninja Stupid Fanime will probably get in the way of me seeing Indiana Jones on opening night... For me, it would all depend on whether or not I had a place to stay. I've never staffed before though, so that could be interesting/fun.... surprised I'm also totally up for a pre-con dinner, eating out or otherwise... heart

Streamjumper Dr. Fomite Streamjumper Turnips here... delicious, wonderful, turnips... I don't think I've ever eaten a turnip.
This notion makes me a little sad.I love the mild bitterness they have. You should buy one and boil it up sometime. Its a root veggie so all you need to know is to cut it evenly into uniform 1 inch cubes, toss it into a pot of cold water, and huck it on the stove. Then just bring it to a boil on high and boil it until the bits are tender. Drain, add salt, pepper, and butter to taste. Enjoy. You can also mash it a bit, but it is good either way. Or you can put them in curry as a substitute for potatoes. Everything's good in curry. heart

I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT OKAY gonk I believe that might be in the running for the most wrong thing I've ever read on Gaia. Keep in mind, I still remember Gaia Personals. Also: MCs. Anyone want one? I still have one letter left.

Zipper bears...I will return for you. Some day. Streamjumper I love the mild bitterness they have. You should buy one and boil it up sometime. Ooh, I think even I can manage that. I like hila's curry idea, too. Mala likes the curry.

Streamjumper Er... you're forgetting that this is the AG you're talking about. More people in town means most of us will have a better meal... and free up more than enough reservations for those who really need them. Sorry, still haven't gotten to con season in the backlog. redface

More people in town means most of us will have a better meal... and free up more than enough reservations for those who really need them. I call dibs on infants. if you guys are up to eating at a real fancy restaurant in San Francisco, I can probably pull some strings... but I'm not sure if I can attend Fanime.Oooh thanks. Though, SF is really far away and hard to park in. If people don't mind spending though, I know a couple places that take a month lead time on an average night. Though... I realized when I got home that I might actually be doing something every con night except Monday which I don't usually attend.

Actually generally I'm offered room space but I always think 'but I live close enough to commute even though it takes me an hour and sometimes I don't get home until 3 and have to be back at 8....' Fanime rooms are cheap but there's something about using your own shower and closet. If I can wrangle a friend from Oregon down on the promise of 'yes, you can sell your old DVDs here without the hassle of eBay' then I might start looking into room stuff.
