Skizzors Ashram: I've had that. xd Particularly fun was the time I fell asleep on my desk in study hall, and I was TRYING to lift my head because my teacher was yelling at me, but I just couldn't.. Oh where does the energy go from when we were younglings ... I remember nap times in kindergarten and pre-school ... kids didn't want to sleep. Elementary school and on ... no more nap times ... and kids fall asleep in class.

Yay!
It's my birthday!
And I've got some fun stories to share when I get home, but that won't be until Monday. Stream gets the stories first... xd
However, I did learn something that I didn't know. Last night Tiffany Grant did a panel on bootlegs and fansubs. And when she had asked the audience for reasons why people download, one of the responses (as expeted), was that America edits everything rolleyes
So they used Cardcaptor Sakura as an example of a horribly edited show. Now, ADV was the company that released CCS, and this is what Tiffany said.
She said that there were actually TWO versions. One was heavily edited (by the Japanese), and one was not. ADV thought they were getting the unedited one (because they didn't know at the time that there were two versions), but they got the edited one. And ADV didn't realize what had happened until they got a slew of angry letters from fans about how horrible the edits were. ADV eventually got the unedited version and put that out as well, but I guess it's something that not a lot of people know.

I'm going to ask her about Gurren-Lagann today before she leaves. I had asked her on Friday (during a panel) if she could talk about any upcoming shows she was working on (as a voice actor or script adapter), and she mentioned a few shows, but she did say that there was one she couldn't talk about. I don't know which one it was, but she never mentioned GL, so...
