Dr. Fomite AzurePaleSky I'm seeing Gogol Bordello tonight in LA... it takes like 2 and a half hours to drive, and my ex said he'd drive. But low and behold, of course he tells me an hour before we leave that his car's not working, so we'll have to take mine. And he said he'd drive it, but I don't feel comfortable with most people driving my car... and at this point I don't want to go because I don't like him and I have a midterm essay to write and we won't be back until 2 am or so because he has to stop by a friend's place in LA. Blech. Also, I've been breaking out sooo much from all this stress... even my acupuncturist for my migraines is telling me stuff I shouldn't eat sweatdrop It's worse than when I was a teenager... crying
Somebody was actually going to see a band I know. :O I swear, I haven't heard of three quarters of the stuff people listen to. crying
Sounds like a bad time, though. gonk Did you end up going or just skipping out?
I hope the migraines are getting better and the essay went well. crying heart Yay!! I ended up going... and my ex was an a** kinda. He wanted to go mosh around, so I had to fend for myself. And the migraines were worse, but I've only had one this past week! (I had like four the week before...) BUT... I am officially going to Denmark/Sweden for New Years'!! How's the new house?

EdwardHau Really weird things happen to me. It seems like at least once a week, I have some weird story to share with everyone. Anyway...
My friend Jo and I went to see American Gangster(greatfreakingmovie) today. As we're walking through the parking lot, I hear this behind me.
Lady: Excuse me! Excuse me! Excuse me!
Finally, after the third excuse me I decide she's obviously talking to us. I turn around, and there is this fairly heavyset black woman standing there in some very revealing clothes.
Me: Yes?
Lady: Do ya'll have a minute?
Me: Well, I'm kind of in a hurry. Going to work.
Lady: It'll just take a second..
Me: All right..
So, I'm feeling kind of weird at this point, but I don't leave..
Lady: Ya'll like tea parties?
Me: Sure. (notice I said sure, without questioning it)
Jo: Uh... tea parties?
Lady: -looks at Jo with an odd expression- Oh, I didn't say tea parties.. I said titty parties.
Jo: burning_eyes
Me: Uhm...excuse me?
Lady: Titty parties.. do ya'll like titty parties?
Me: ........Good God... -walks off quickly with Jo-
w.t.f.
Good thing your friend asked, or you would've shown up at a titty party in your best frock and bonnet and wouldn't you have felt silly?

I hope the show was still good, anyway. And the migraines stay low-frequency. I've been getting more of them again recently, too. Not fun stuff to have to deal with.
That sounds exciting! 4laugh Do you know what sights you're going to see while you're there, or are you going more with a spontaneous approach?
It's good and housey. whee I'm kind of getting irritated with how much farther I am from work (old place was five minute walk, this is twenty minute walk) but that's really only an issue late at night/for emergencies. Otherwise, I'm loving it. Just need to unpack, still. xd But that'll probably never happen.
