Well, you've got to assume that since he's on his feet he'd be able to cover the distance she rolled faster than she'd be able to roll it.
If she tries to roll a good ten feet away while he's standing there, he'd likely go up and curb stomp her for a bit. razz
While I understand that she didn't just roll two feet or anything, on the same note we can probably assume that this distance wasn't covered instantaneously, and if he was going to put a hurt on her, he'd chased after.
Though I probably should have included a 'he closed the distance and then-' in there.

Well, that would make sense. Except for the fact that you said he only took one step.
I just assumed that was all he took, since there was nothing else to suggest that he had moved towards her. Either way, it doesn't matter. o:

I probably should have checked before writing... I said 'soccer kick', not really the best in description. The way you reacted was a little off for the angle of the kick, which had more to do with his recovery from performing it than how it would have affected you if it contacted. If you'd rather we take a step back and start from there again, we can do that. In other words: Posted.

Er..This might strike you as odd, but I've never played soccer really...>_> So, I wouldn't really know how the kicks were performed.
But anyhow, nah let's just keep going. I've already got a plan formed, I'm gonna type it up now.

...effing kicks. xp There's probaby a name, I just don't know it... nor does knowing the name help you to know what I'm talking about. gonk

I'd have included "he's got a sore back", but it's rather moot since it's nothing severe at this point.
I resisted the urge to write "choo choo!"

o.o;; I don't think I've ever fought a character this amusing. It certainly is not a dull battle.
