"stuck with one? I think I should be insulted."
a slight smirk though looking to the other daughter.
"A story, eh? what story would you like to hear about?"
then at the older daughter.
"And you...you sent that poor boy all the way to Deepwater for a flower and now you don't think he'd be good enough...shame. boy probably won't do anything for you ever again once he figures that out. and that will spread like wildfire."

She nodded, "Yes I suppose if you weren't planning on sticking around it really wouldn't make much sense to come at all." Crossing her legs idly, her gaze moved back over all the people gathered who were steadily drinking and dancing all over each other. "Friends are overrated sometimes. You just need a few really close people that will always be there for you." Her smile soured as a rather almost drunk male came over and started hanging on her. She shoved him off and stood up. "Do you want to...get out of here? Take a walk or something?"
Faatallon gave a smirk, "Oh that wont' happen to me. I plan on never getting married to anyone." She gave a chuckle at her uncle and shook her head. "He went to Deepwater and got me a flower all by himself. I don't ask for anything, they bring it for various reasons." Lyssthyren gave a grin. "Well, it should start with a pretty princess and then there should be a pirate but there also needs to be a puppy and a ferret too. Ferrets are the best friends of princesses, you know. But the princess shouldn't get trapped or kidnapped unless she can get out of it herself. Instead the pirate should be eaten by a dragon and then we all eat cake with colorful sprinkles and the cake should never be completely gone. Just keep on replacing the pieces that have been eaten."
She finished brushing his hair and tossed the brush over to the picnic area, letting the back of it clatter against the stone. Her hands rested on his shoulders to calm him down after the rather loud noise. She'd been aiming for the blanket but her aim was off. She blinked for a moment as that tug released her skirt and she was left bottomless. Her answering chuckle filled the room and she kneeled and pressed a kiss to his shoulder. "Impatient, are we?" Stepping back around to the front, she reached down and tugged him up once again, then left him there. Stepping back she feasted on the very look of him, then stepped back over to the picnic area and picked up a glass of wine, dipping her fingers into it and then walking around and lightly brushing her fingertips over his skin. Right hip. Middle back. Left shoulder. Left ab. Upper chest, resting her hand over his heart for a moment before stepping back once again.

"I remember when I said that."
chuckling lightly, before settling down in his chair to listen to the story idea presented to him.
"How about a different one. like some of the stories from when I finally convinced Aunt Piper to come with me into the Underfoot?"

"Yeah I suppose. And well...a close group of few are ones you can trust and not have to worry about betraying you." Sneering in that appauled way as someone practically fell all over her but she shoved him away and he gave her a nod, getting himself up and offering a hand to her. "Sure, sounds good. Zykariel is getting his attention and the party is for him. I'm just here to make sure he doesn't walk into things when he starts to get smashed. That's a good hour or two off."
"Say what you will. Your mother said the same thing and she's married. It's a sort of thing that for some just kind of happens. Who knows, when you do grow up you may change your tune." Shrugging lightly and plopping down in a chair, turning her attention to Yinn who had pranced up, looking to be pet. Though she did chuckle at the story idea...at to be that young before shaking her head. "You just want to tell embarassing stories about me."
"I'm not impatient, you're just overdressed." Adding his two cents to things before going quiet once more and merely going with the flow of things. And then cold wet was touching him...he wasn't sure how he felt about that, but he merely went with it for a moment and waited for a proper time before he reached out and grabbed her, pulling her in close to him and raising her hand to his lips, kissing her fingertips. Ah, it was wine. He should of known, she loved the stuff. But mystery solved he traced his fingers up to her lips to make sure he knew how she was positioned before inclining his head to press his lips to her own.

"Even those close to you could betray you, D'vinn. 'Tis the way of drow. Then again some are breaking out of their old stereotypes now that the goddess is dead. Of course I don't remember those times but the knowledge and ideals are still taught." Cocking her head fo ra moment, she frowned. "What are you exactly? I know you're not drow precisely but you do have drow in you, yes?" She took his hand and led him out of the bustling tavern and into the quiet streets. Ah, that was better.
She shook her head and made a face. "No, I've heard that one before and I think it's mean the way you tricked her. She should have been able to go to a sunny and pretty place but this surface was all kablammied by then. Aunt Piper misses the sunshine sometimes. She told me so. Even if you gave her stuff that sticks to the ceiling." A shake of the girl's head. "Just not the same." She wasted not time pouncing on Yinn the moment he arrived though, and began to roll arond and play on the floor with him happily. Faatallon merely shrugged in her confident way. "If I find someone like my father then I'll marry him so fast his head will spin. But I don't think there's anyone out there like him so I won't be getting married."
She smiled softly as her hand lifted and his lips grazed them taking in the sweet taste of wine. He was compensating quite nicely for not being able to see, focusing his other senses and even reaching out to take some things into his own hands. She kissed him back softly, curving her hands around his back and linking her fingers behind his neck. It was not a particularly deep kiss but it was full of sensual promise and things left to come. She gently began to push him back towards the bed of pillows and blankets in the corner of the room, guiding his steps with her hands on his chest and her lips locked to his. She pushed gently, allowing him to fall back on the makeshift bed and then bent down, untying and shedding her boots. She left her top on, his to remove whenever he got around to it and pushed him back so he was laying down. Pushing him onto his stomach, she commenced the torture. First a feather was lightly played all along his back, over his tight buttocks and down his legs, each kiss whispery soft and barely even a touch at all. It was just enough to arouse the senses and initiate his reflexes. Then she remained quiet for a time, the feather taken away abruptly and without notice and she once again dipped her hand in the wine. Instructing him to flip with a push of her hand, she let the other hover over his body until the tiny drops began falling down, hitting his skin and then sliding down his body, leaving rivulets all along the sensitized dark skin. "Having fun yet?" she asked in a throaty voice, very much in control and enjoying every minute of it.

"I did not trick her into coming here. and I was reffering to things before coming here. How about I tell you some stories about the world of my birth, Norrath? a few legends and the like...like the rise and fall of the second rallosian empire...tales about what happened to the human forts of Befallen and Stormhold. Or the creation of the Hole?"

"Really now? My father would be most displeased to hear that. He's never thought well of those ways, always thought them frivilous." Which was saying something for Malik D'vinn, his father didn't object to much after all. Even on things his mother objected to, he could be just fine and dandy with such things. And then another question that was hard to explain, but he could do his best. "Well, technically speaking, I'm a quarter moon elf, a quarter wood elf -which are both surface elves- and then I'm half Tier'dal. A Tier'dal is like a drow cousin from another plane. They're not totally strict underdark and they don't suscribe to a matriarchal society structure. Not pitch skinned either, don't know why, but they aren't. They're blue. Thus, so is my father and I am too."
Piper blinked at the oh so blunt, true, and half secret words the little girl spouted off to Malik. Did children hear everything? Truth be told, she was kind of ashamed of such things getting out. She didn't like Malik knowing that yes, sometimes she did miss simple surface things that so many others were used to and even took for granted. Even though there was a surface here, she rarely visited. Which then she was glad that Malik offered something up for her to refocus on as she more or less averted her attention fully away from him. "Don't you tell her anything that's going to make her creep around paranoid like. I'm not going to be held accountable by Zahara for the little one wanting to climb into her parents bed every night." Letting her eyes slip to the older one. "Someone like your father...seems all women look for men like thier fathers. You may not find someone like him exactly, but someone who matches up enough qualities to be just enough but not the same. I suppose in a way it's a security thing."
Walking backwards, don't trip because that wouldn't be fun at all. Falling down never was, no matter where you were. Though yes he did know where he was...in his training room. He had felt the runes scribed in the floor and could feel the residual runic energy through the room as well from his training. Didn't have to worry about walking though because soon enough he was back to the floor, or rather some soft cushy spot that she had made and then was being subjected yet again to another sensation of touch as she took her time playing with him as she wished. Which was interesting for him, seeing as it was turning a once bad thing into something good and yes he did give her a smirky smile, seemingly again watching her despite now being able to see her.
And there was wet again, but this time he recognized the liquid by it's scent, having caught it the first time when he had sampled it off of her fingers. Her and her wine. "Very much of it, I fear you're going to spoil me if you keep this up." Giving her a chuckle before grabbing her hand and drawing her close, kissing wine off her fingers again as his other hand searched her to see what else was going on with her, she still had her top on. Well, that had to go now didn't it. Stupid lack of coordination.

She shrugged, uncertain what she could say to that. It was interesting that he was such a mixture and blend of so many different things. "That's quite a heritage to claim. Two parts surface elf, to one part cousin of drow. You have your father's coloring and his choice of weapon, yet you work in your mother's business. Do you carry on any other of your mother's ways, Malikhai? Not that I would know by looking at you if you did or did not. I never learned much about surface elves."
She merely inclined her head. "What girl doesn't love her father? Did you marry one like yours, Aunt Piper?" Lyssthyren made a face. "That sounds like stuff I'd learn in school. You aren't tricking me now too, are you Uncle Malik?" Yes, she was suspicious. "I want to hear a story with a princess and a dragon in it. Aunt Piper, do you know any good ones? If not, I'm pretty sure I could make one up and show you what I mean. Uncle Malik should learn to be a good storyteller. He'll scare Dhairiss if he's not careful and nobody wants that."
She let him draw her in again, shaking her head at that smirk and rolling her eyes. He was enjoying himself which was important to her purpose, but moreso she was enjoying herself and that was paramount as well. She enjoyed him bathing her fingers with his tongue, pulling off the sweet liquid and leaving her with his own mark instead. She pulled back slightly and took a sip of the wine, kissing him and giving him another taste just to mess with him. He could feel her fumbling with her top but made no move to help him, merely chuckled at his attempts. It was amusing to see him lose some of his dexterity. He'd always been good with his fingers, now he was at a marked disadvantage. "and what's wrong with that? You are my husband and you deserve to be spoiled every once in a while." She dipped her head and slowly began removing the beads of wine with her tongue, following the paths they themselves had taken as she removed all traces of the drink from his body. Picking up yet another bottle, she dripped some more liquid onto his body and carefully began to massage it in over his chest. Warm oil did wonders for the muscles and concentration, not to mention gave a sliding and slippery sensation that made other activities all the more enjoyable.

"A dragon and a princess. oh alright fine."
a roll of his eyes, though he did notice the attention shift from his wife.
"I'll tell you about the kidnapping of Fironia Vie, and her imprisonment in the Lair of the undead dragon, Trakanon, delivered by an Iksar shaman. and the brave few that dared the treacherous and dangerous jungles and swamps of Kunark for her rescue attempt."

He watched her for a moment, the way she was processing information...yeah he should just start keeping his linegage to himself and not go around confusing people with it. Though he did turn a look to the black sword strapped at his hip now. "I am my father's son in his looks and ways of battle, though it's said I carry my mother's temperment. And a few little quirks like being able to understand and mimick animal and climb things really well..." Trailing off a little, he was starting to sound weirder and weirder the more he said it out loud. Hm, was it time for an existential teenage breakdown? "So yeah, that's about it...but what about you? You seem normal enough and well, I'm sure you don't want to hear about me all day."
"Yes, I did. I see things in Malik that I saw in my own father, but it's not the same all the way around. That would just be odd." Shaking her head lightly before chuckling lightly. Oh Malik...he just couldn't make up stories. It was always something true and interesting as that may be, it was still lacking in the imagination that a child could produce. But at least he tried and that was the important part. "He's a good storyteller when he wants to be. You should see him play pirates."
There got it off and it was duly tossed aside to...wherever in the room. Was not fun being all fumbly...he had worked hard to learn not to be because being fumbly often meant punishment. It was just annoying in this case. But he merely layed back with a pleased sigh, enjoying her little tasks that she was going about, making it so that they were both enjoying what was going on. More wine though between them made him chuckle, even as she switched to a new activity. "Careful, you'll get yourself drunk while the night is still young. Then what fun are you going to have when you can't see straight?"

"It's probably better that you have your mother's temperament. That makes you approachable, Malikhai. Your father's temper is well known down here and no one wishes to tangle with it or him. They'd much rather deal with your mother." She shrugged lightly, "Not much to tell, really, though I wouldn't know if I'm normal or not. I live with my mother in Vesendar. She's a decent enough Illusionist, I suppose. She teaches that and a few other magics up at the school." She kicked at some of the rocks on the path. "I told you it wasn't much to talk about. Tell me more about you. Do you race at all?"
Lyssie shook her head. "Her rescue? No, no, no. That's all wrong, Uncle Malik. She shouldn't have to be rescued. I fshe's a real princess then she should be able to get out of it herself. Or maybe she could just make friends with the dragon and have a party. That would be fun, don't you think? She could invite her jerheg and bat to join them at the party and then they could all go swimming later." Faatallon rolled her eyes. "You won't win with her. She wants everyone to tell her a story but they are never good enough. Only hers are and hers don't make any sense."
It took all of five seconds for a shrill, "Do too!"
"Do not!"
"They do too! You don't understand them because you don't have imagination. Mama understands them just fine, so there!"
"I do too have imagination."
"No you don't! Everyone says you don't so I win. La-la-la-la." Sticking her fingers in her ears so anything her sister had to say in response would not be heard.
"I don't even know why I bother. You're such a child." Faatallon shook her head, crossed her arms and huffed a sigh. "Could you please stop doing that?!"
"La-lalalalalalalal- WHAT? LALALALALALA!"
Feeling her top pulled away, she watched it land amongst the food she'd set out earlier. Hmm, he'd flung that rather far. Glancing at him for a moment, her lips curved in a knowing smile. "You'll just have to be my eyes at that point then won't you?" Kneading his back lightly as she continued to rub in the oil, careful not to let his sides touch the insides of her thighs even though she was dangerously close to touching him. It took a measure of her own self control to keep herself from settling on him and instead keeping anything but her fingertips from brushing along his chest. "When you've had enough, just say the word." Not that she was going to stop at that point but still. Leaning over him, she blew a straight line from his neck all the way down his body, ending just below his navel.

"Both of you stop it right now."
in that tone of annoyance that was usually enough to get the help a bit afraid.
"If you don't like to hear a story I have, then why don't you tell your own story and we'll see who lacks imagination then."
glancing at the older sister, then to the younger.
"and if you keep aggravating each other, no one gets cake."

"Well, that temper of his has a certain way of going about getting flared up. Long as you don't push buttons then you really have nothing to worry about. Sometimes it's best to ask him for something than to ask my mother who is more prone to saying no to something." Shrugging lightly and it seemed she was turning the focus back on himself. "No, I don't race. I ride and train in mounted swordplay and such, but I don't race. Though I am in an illusionist school of magic mainly. Come on now, I'm not that exciting either, I just have a fancy name."
Wasn't that cute? In her opinion it was anyway. This little girl was brooking no argument on his things should go in this particular story she wanted to hear. And poor Malik well, he was one for fact and not fiction. It was kind of cute though she sighed as the girls began arguing amongst themselves and Malik quickly went about putting it to an end. One of those things he didn't deal with well were squabbling children. But a look over to Malik then. "Do you know what you just started? I hope you don't have anything to do for the next two hours." Blinking then and giving him a laugh before shaking her head. "Since when was cake involved, I wasn't aware there was cake."
"I can't be so if I'm blindfolded now can I?" Shaking his head lightly before merely chuckling and resting back some more, just taking in the moment as it was and more or less learning himself to enjoy it. It couldn't be too hard to learn to enjoy this, after all so far it was proving to be quite the bit of fun now wasn't it. But he shook his head at her as she put forth her apparent intentions. "Come now, we both know things are never that easy with you, otherwise I wouldn't be blindfolded and you wouldn't be holding back as you are." Didn't need eyes to know some things now did he. "Now then, what's the catch?"

"I'd just as soon not deal with him at all. But as your father, I understand that you would know a side of him that we cannot possibly." Malik's lack of morals when it came to certain things was well known across the Underdark, as was his prowess with the dead and decaying. "He's not really trusted but some question your mother as well. All a matter of perspective and opinion." She fell silent a moment later, taking in what he'd told her. "Maybe you should try it. It might boost your reputation a little more. Or just connect you with the others."
Did they stop? Vocally bickering, yes but neither of them missed prime opportunities to annoy each other through pokes and prods and sticking their tongues out behind the adult's back. And Piper was exactly right. Lyssie took Malik's hand and pulled him off away from her sister and aunt and began telling him a story that got so convoluted and confusing that even she couldn't keep it straight, and lasted even past dinner. Something new would be added on and something else would change or the story would get a complete makeover as it went. Faatallon talked to her aunt for a little while about various things and then buried her nose in a rune book. She had studying to do. Daddy was testing her soon.
"You can see with things other than your eyes, Sev Sev. Don't even pull that with me." Stroking her hands over his skin once again, she pressed a light kiss to his lips. "There's no catch," she said innocently, tracing her fingers over his jaw and then his lips before moving up and into his hair, brushing his ears once, twice, then a third time. "We have all night and I want to make it last, that's all."

Malik listened to the story, though it made his head hurt. like Piper thought, Malik was very much about order and facts when it came to stories rather than fanciful and spur of the moment storytelling. and her story changing like the tides of the oceans during a hurricane was hard for him to follow very easily, if not downright impossible. And he did give a silent thanks to Innoruuk when she was finished.
"That was very imaginative. though it seems we've missed proper dinnertime...lets get you something to eat anyway."
