Keiro nodded and hugged her tight, he wanted her to come because no one hurt him if he was with someone. "Please Kala..." He whimpered a bit, they had said some pretty nasty words like rapist and molestor.

Kala hugged him back tightly and nodded.
"Of course I will... If anyone says anything to you I'll make sure their not only missing teeth." She wasn't going to allow Keiro to be bullied and she was about to show these stupid kids what she could do.

Keiro smiled slightly and nodded, hugging her before letting go. "D-Don't tell mommy and daddy though..." He didn't want his mother comming to the class, that would be embarrassing.
Kamito finally got home with the present Yumi wanted to get Keiro, he had wrapped it up at the office. "I got it Yumi!" He smiled.

"Don't worry.." She smiled and ruffled his hair.
Yumi looked up from dinner.
""Really?!" She put the spoon down and tackled Kamito, kissing him. "Thank you!" She looked at it. "I didn't think I'd be able to get it.."

Keiro smiled at her, fixing his hair. "What is mommy cooking fr dinner tonight?"
Kamito blushed and kissed her back, setting the present on the coffee table by the couch. "I just barely got it, I know I'll hear a riot from the elders tomorrow but it was worth it!" He had ditched a meeting.

"Chicken and beef Ramen, sweet chicken stir fry, Onigiri, and she also has Cake." She put a finger to her lip, confused. "She also has watermelon..."
Yumi hugged Kamito again.
"Have I ever told you, you are amazing?" She was so proud on how well Kamito was doing with Keiro,

Keiro's jaw dropped, they remembered his birthday a day late?! He pouted a bit, what parents they were!
Kamito fluttered his eyes. "I hope all the time haha." He joked, letting Yumi go. "Keiro! We got something for you!" He called, wanting to give him the present before dinner.

Kala red his expression.
"They were going to throw a party for you yesterday but Yumi couldn't get the gift she wanted to get you and she didn't think it was right to throw you a party and then say she didn't have anything.. they're trying Keiro."
Yumi stood in front of the present to hide it.

Keiro crossed his arms and kept his frown. "They still forgot..." He sighed and went back down the stairs to stand infront of them, Kamito ruffled his hair and keiro fixed it again. "Yes...?"
Kamito knelt down, yep Keiro was still blind. "We got something for you..."

Yumi took the present out and handed it to him.
Kala watched, she wanted to grow up like Yumi... no matter what happened she always tried to keep the family together. She just wished Keiro would give them a better chance.

Keiro held the present, unwrapping it then feeling where to open it, he opened up the box and felt inside it, Kamito helped him pull out the little box of art supplies incase he ever wanted his sight back.
Kamito smiled. "There another item in there."
Keiro dug in the box again, pulling out the folded up blanket, it was big enough to wrap himself in it and still walk around with it. Although he missed the important item Yumi got him which was at the bottom. "Is there anything else?"

Yumi nodded, pulling out something she had only showed Kamito once. It was a small blade. She gave it to Keiro, smiling a bit.
"This is the Silver Fang Blade, Keiro... my dad gave me this a long time ago, he got it from my grandfather before he died. I... I had lost it some time ago and I had tried to track it down but I didn't find it till late last night and it was in Kumo.." She placed her hand on Keiro's head. "I'm sorry we're celebrating your birthday late but I couldn't get the Blade and I reallyyy wanted to give it to you, I didn't forget Keiro.." She kissed his forehead. "I could never forget the day you were born.."
Kala smiled.
"Seeeeeeee Keiro.." She thought.

Keiro set the blanket and art set down to hold the blade, his eyes teared up a bit and he held it close to his chest, the blade in it's old sheath, it felt right to be near him. "Atleast you remembered mommy..." he hugged Yumi and smiled.
Kamito rolled his eyes, it wasn't his fault he forgot, he wasn't there for keiro's birth so he didn't know.

Yumi smiled and hugged him back, giving Kamito a look that said 'it's okay.'
Kari was sitting in her room smoking a cigarette, Ushio had just gone to bed but she was still worried. There were a bunch of noises she had never seen before and they worried her as well. She got up and began to pace.
Rico looked at Oko from the top of the mansion, she was still out, cuddled up with Yuro. Now that the boy wasn't the Kyuubi host he didn't have to worry.
