Killa walked into the great hall and saw all the people at only one table. Gryffindor table. She rolled her eyes slightly as she saw the platin-blonde mop of hair amongst the Gryffindors. Not again she thought and walked over to the table. When 10 feet away she noticed the subject of many daydreams at the table. She froze, her eyes slightly wide. Why, oh why had she picked this side of the table?!
She tried moving, but it was like she was nailed to the spot. It wasnt fear, or, maybe it was, kinda. She couldnt explain it.

"You know, I can't believe you lot. It's common courtesy to ask your significant other if they would like to join you. For all I know, he might want to skip the ball all together and where would that leave me, eh? I mean, obviously he hasn't got a choice, but still. It's all about having the proper form and being a gentleman," Sirius said before taking a bite of his waffles. He swallowed and glanced up at the Slytherin girl standing about 10 feet away.
"Hullo, are you going to stand there all day or are you going to sit down and join us? It's not like we'll shun you away to your proper House table, I mean, we've been putting up with this git haven't we?" he said motioning towards Draco with his fork.

"I think a mister Potter got suggested by Mr. Black through elbows and head twitches and glares that he should ask you to the dance."
Gabriel quirked an eyebrow at the Slytherin. "You've gotta be joking," he whispered back so that others wouldn't know what they were talking about. Deciding to do something to annoy Draco, the somewhat redhead grabbed the apple from the blonde's grasp.
"No apples until you have real food," he said sweetly, with an innocent smile to match.

"Really?" Gabriel wanted to know. "'Scuse me for saying this and all, but Sirius, you don't seem like the gentlemen type. You're more the prankster type, if all the stories are true."

"I am a prankster," Sirius replied, shooting a glare towards Gabriel. "But that doesn't mean I can't be a gentleman when the situation is called for. This is one of those times."
"And what about you Gabriel?" he asked, smirking and leaning forward. "You have two very fine young ladies, and two equally fine young gentlemen here at your disposal. I doubt that any of them will go to the ball with you if you ask them with a bucket of ice water. Who do you plan on asking?"

"I mean, we've been putting up with this git haven't we?" "Hey it isn't my fault no one I know is at the slytherin table," he defended himself. He whispered back to Gabriel "Do you think I would waste my time talking about potter to just lie about it? You don't believe it, why I would ask you if you weren't already being looked at by a certain pot head, but that's just me, god only knows what possesses me to think the way I do" he shrugged. He was about to bite his apple again when it got taken away. "Hey now, give that back, that's more real than that fatty crud your eating," he reached over to get it, emitting a small, petite grunt.

Killa's eyes quickly darted to the one who had spoken, quickly fighting down a blush, and slowly moved towards the table, making sure her eyes didnt land once on the female. She sat down next to the girl. What had they called her? Kath... something. She took some food, not much, just enough to survive on for an hour or two. She never had liked eating around other people. She didnt say anything, just sat there, eating her food, not once looking up.

"And what about you Gabriel? You have two very fine young ladies, and two equally fine young gentlemen here at your disposal. I doubt that any of them will go to the ball with you if you ask them with a bucket of ice water. Who do you plan on asking?"
Gabriel had the decency to look mildly surprised at part of what Sirius was saying. "A bucket of ice water?" he asked, incredulous. "Is that how you were going to ask Remus? And why would you think I'd use something as tasteless as a bucket of ice water to ask someone to a dance?" He stared directly at Sirius now. "And, for your information, I do have someone in mind for this dance thing. But I'm not going to tell you that and spoil the surprise."
He paused when he heard Draco whisper something in his ear. He decided to ignore what Draco had told him and was more intent with keeping the apple out of reach.
"Come on, Blondie," he said. "You're too thin. Eat two slices of bacon and I will give you your apple back, how about that?"

At this, Killa looked up.
"Much as it pains me, Draco, the Gryffindor is right. You look like you've lost about 10 pounds the past month" she said, looking at her fellow house mate. "And you will get your apple" she continued, tilting her head slightly, making her long hair fall down over her shoulder, covering the side of her face.

"But..." he said, not able to retort the Slytherin. "Please don't make me eat that!" he begged Gabriel. "I won't bother you about the dance again if you don't make me eat it," he promised, of course not begging.

Gabriel grinned, almost maniacally. "Talk about the dance all ya want, I don't mind. However, that's not going to stop me. Come on, the sooner you eat the bacon, the sooner you get your apple back, okay?"
He hummed softly to himself as he waited for the other boy to respond. If he poked at him enough, he was almost positive that he would be able to get Draco to eat.

Draco thought a moment. He looked from the apple to the bacon. Then he shrugged and grabbed another apple. He smirked as he went to take a bite of the fruit. "I'll just take this then," he said before he took the bite.

Gabriel, already anticipating this, pulled out his wand and transfigured the apple into a piece of bacon right before Draco bit into it. He grinned happily and sat back in his chair, grabbing an apple for himself and taking a bite out of it.
"Now you just have one and a half pieces left and I'll let you have your apple back," he told the blonde cheerfully.

He spit it out and stood up. "I will not eat this bacon bit, nor any other bacon bits at all. I want a blasted apple, what is so wrong with wanting to maintain a good figure anyway! You bloody gryffindors with your loyalty and warmth and crud, well I don't care. I want an apple. I'm going to eat an apple, and enjoy it and I am not going to eat a blasted pig in order to get it!" he finished, flopping back unto the bench, glaring at Gabriel.

Gabriel was unfazed by the blonde's outburst. In fact, he would have been surprised if the boy stayed relatively quiet throughout his prodding. Carefully, he slung an arm around the boy's shoulders.
"You do realize that you're awfully cute when you're angry," he told him sincerely. "And its not Gryffindor loyalty or any of that. It's more the fact that you need to eat. I care about the people around me, whether or not I know them well. If they aren't eating, its sometimes good to tell them." He sighed, not removing his arm from where it was. "You should try to stop being so touchy everytime someone expresses some type of caring towards you. It's not healthy."
He held out the apple. "I won't bug you this time, but one of these days, I will get you to eat a full meal!" he promised.

He calmly reached for the apple and put it in his grasp. He took a bite and gave a low smirk to him. "Maybe," he shrugged to Gabriel's promise, though it was rather sarcastic. He didn't know if he should say anything about the arm but it was rather odd. No one touched him. No one. Well except sixth year...ahem, nevermind. The fact of the matter was no one touched him except maybe to slap him or another negative implication. He emitted a small cough and looked up at Gabriel before taking another bite.
