Irvine smirked. He stood on top of a large hill side that over looked the forest below. His black hair swayed in the wind. His silver eyes glinted with a fiery gleam that hadn't been able to surface for a long time. Both Requiem and Nightmare were sheathed on his back in black scabbards with red runes on each side. His shackles that were broken hung at his side. Irvine's fanged smirk remained on his face for a long time. He looked remarkably better from somone who had looked like he was on the verge of death not but a week ago. There was definitely somthing different about him. What it was, was anyone's guess. He sniffed the air and his smirk widened slightly.
"I can smell the blood of an old enemy...perfect timing...Now...on to the next phase..."
Irvine turned away from the forest. He began walking down the hill side, his destination unknown.

It didn't take Irvine very long for him to reach his waterfall cavern home. He walked through the waterfall, enterance getting himself wet. He made his way to the back of the cave where there was some tall grass that was Irvine's bed. He unbuckled Requiem and Nightmare and set them and their sheathes against a wall. Then he laid down on his bed and just lay there for awhile.

Heswina was standing off in the shadows, her arms crossed over her chest, with a lazy expression. "What were you doing at Mastema's city?" Stepping out of the shadows revealed the thin, loose neckline, white shirt and tight pair of black pants, the fabric was so tight and thin against her legs that it almost seemed to be her flesh. She hadn't been standing there, nor was she anywhere near lazy...she had just appeared from Mastema's sanctuary and decided to "talk" with Irvine.

Irvine sighed. He had hoped she wouldn't have actually followed him. He sat up slightly and leaned his back up against some rocks. He looked at Heswina with his silvery gray eyes that seemed to illuminate the darkness.
"I already told you. I went to confirm the rumor that Mastema had returned. Until this evening, I wasn't sure if he had truly returned. Now I know. Now, if that's all you wanted to know then you can leave."

Sighing she sat down beside Irvine, she was looking straight up at the ceiling. "Why are you so angry with me all the time? I'm only trying to help you. You wanted the power to kill Xol, and have I not given it to you? Would you rather me not give you that power? Would you like the pain back?" The burn marks of the lasers, though still gone, began to burn.
