if it's the strength rod you borrowed, make the best use of it you can.
If it's your own basic rod...either sell it, or do the same as you would with the strength. If you do enough fishing, you can probobly make up for a small portion of the gold you lost.

i have 2 stregth rod pluses... one i accidently upgraded and one i borrowed....
i should have never taken up this evil money eating sport... crying crying

*shrugs* It's not money eating for me. In fact, it's my main source of income...but I just use a basic, f bait, and don't bother with anything more expensive. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to fill a bucket in durem, and usually make average out around 160g per bucket...
not the most gold ever, but it's an easy way to make gold.
