Tomo shook his head, "Today's been especially queasy, so I doubt I could keep anything down."

Arlen walks out of the kitchen with a bowl of soup. "I don't know why I made this," he says to no one in particular. "I'm not even hungry."

She grinned and got up, walking to the kitchen. She found the tea and started heating some water on the stove. "Besides the nausea, how have you been?" she asked, glancing over at Tomo.

"Hey, Arlen." Tomo greeted, glancing at the soup. He was hungry... "I'll eat it!"
He looked back over at Kaen, then shrugged. "I'm doing okay. Wish Kaia were around."

"I'm fine for now, just a little....worried," she said, pouring the hot water into a mug with the tea bag. She set it in front of Tomo. "YOu know the drill. Let it steep for a bit."

Arlen gets quiet and avoids looking at Kaen or Tomo. "It happened this morning," he said quietly. "I was coming downstairs and Jad, Kai, and I think Sapphire were talking about Kai becoming an angel."

Tomo paused eating and lowered the spoon. "Oh..." He murmured, running his tail over the floor. He couldn't find anything to say for a long time, "That's... A really high honor, right?"
