Since I will be starting a metal band soon, beer and other alcoholic beverages will always be my friend. pirate

Joseph beer is fattening too, not just pop. I'll try my best to cutt pop from my diet and see if it helps me loose some weight.

I wouldn't mind shedding a few pounds, but I imagine I'll be doing that anyway this summer. I got a job with my local Girl Scout council as a camp councellor, so I'll probably be very active. Sadly, this means I'll probably be gone the whole summer unless they have wireless internet access. Considering that there will be technology at the camp, it's possible, but I'm not holding my breath.
Maybe I should check around the town first to see if they have any cyber cafes. I will get two hours off every day & at least one day off a week, which means trips to get some coffee & internet access are a possibility. Don't be surprised if I don't show up at all, though. I'll probably want to use some of my days off to go fishing. xd

Uhh, ok then. xD;;; You have fun with that ok, Anne?
As for me I enjoy soda a lot.. I find it funny when people call it pop. YES I DO! domokun I mean think about it.. "I'm going to go drink a pop!" TRANSLATION: "I'm going to go drink my dad!" Pop is another way of saying dad, or father... xd So that's why I make fun of it. xD
Anyways back to my favorite drink.. It's still Dr. Pepper, even though I don't drink it very often anymore.. Now I drink mainly Sierra Mist, or just water. 3nodding I drink a LOT of water.. xd

Where I live in the south, most everyone refers to soda as coke. I call it soda because I don't like Coca-Cola & don't want to get it by accident. I also tend to pick up slang I like from other countries. For example, it's more natural for me to say, "I'll give you a ring," instead of, "I'll call you." Then again, I also refer to Britain as the mother country(My reasoning behind this is that Britain is the mother & America is the result of a cesarean section.) & like to take tea at least once a week with scones & grape jam. Maybe I just want to be British.

It's amazing how the same language can evolve to the point of nearly being unrecognizeable in different regions.

Well, yeah. My girl friend lives in Minnesota and calls it pop and soda and whatever... But I always make fun of her when she calls it pop. xd
But yeah it's funny how some people accumulate an accent in different states... >>;; Like one of her friends was surprised that I didn't have some sort of accent when they talked to me. xD
I'm not really big on tea, well not warm tea that is. I like ice tea over any other kind... And coffee is nasty. xp

People around here can't find my southern accent to the point that they won't believe that I was born & raised in Arkansas unless my parents tell them so. I have to go north for anyone to notice & even then it's not a heavy accent. I think it has something to do with either my parents' families coming from northern states & different countries or the years I've spent in choir learning diction.

The area I live in has some interesting diversity, most likely because I live in & near a college city. We also have a big church in the area that has priests from all over the world. I know people from England, Ireland, Germany, Amsterdam, Spain, Vietnam, and Korea. We also get people from all over the country. In that category, I have friends from Texas, Louisianna, Mississippi, New York, California, Hawaii, Oregon, New Mexico, Massachussets, & probably every state in the union.

No wait, I meant that this dude was southern born and had a speech impediment which caused him to have that accent.
But what you say is still cool information though. ninja
