Either a chair carried by cultists, or more feasibly, a moving pulpit. Perhaps not a pulpit, but a platform carried aloft by mechanical feet or tentacles. Tack on some corpses and maybe a nice banner towering on the rear of the thing, and you've got an awesome steed.
Barring that, rocket boots. Just, you know, angle him forward and bit and greenstuff some flames flowing from his feet. A little simplistic, but it does make him look fast and it dosen't ruin the pose.

That or of course the easiest one. Get some wings whether theyre feathered or membrane from WHFB, and slap them on his back. Thats how most people seem to get by. I have no idea how youd model demonic speed though without messing up his legs and the pose.
I dont think thats something youd have to model anyways, but oh well.

I'm going to have to build off of Josef Gafencu's idea here, and go with the steed idea.
Pretty much, get a horse of some sort (likely from a WHFB knight) and cut Gimaldus across the belt, mounting him on the legs of something else on the horse and angled slightly forward. I'd then put some armour and scraps of cloth and whatnot on the horse (maybe use a Ring Wraith mount from LotR if they're the same scale) and give it a "dead" look.
After that, I'll steal once more and say that you should have a banner on the back of the horse, leaning slightly off to the side, and if possible, make it seem as if there are corpses dragging from the back of the horse.
Hey, you didn't say it had to be easy. xp

I heartily considered giving him a Steed, and if I were to do so, it'd be Archaon's horse from FB. I was also looking at the old Nurgle palanquin and doing something like that, or mounting him on a Tzeentch screamer as some sort of weird warp creature steed...
My Flight option will actually be the heavily converted "wings of faith" from St. Celestine. It would be magnetized and replaceable with a jump pack for the whiners - there were a few when I posed the idea to Warseer. razz

Ever considered a Disk of Tzeentch? There's about 5 to choose from, they're all pretty different too. Check the GW sites for them, I think they're more Fantasy than anything. It can be classed as a steed, speed or flight that way, and it doesn't mess up the pose at all. It also keeps it simple.

I cant imagine its anything rules wise. So Im assuming its modeling based or something.

-Mykal Y'know, I was concerned about giving him a Tzeentch disc because he isn't Tzeentchian, but this one looks downright snazzy. I suppose I'd have to see it from a different perspective, but that may just work out! (EDIT: Not bad! A little thin and plain, but I'd rather it didn't detract from the model anyhow! I just fear the "surfing" comments...) King Kento What kind of complaints? "Oh noez the model wil look cool"? I cant imagine its anything rules wise. So Im assuming its modeling based or something. Mostly "that wouldn't be accepted in a tournament" - which is an acceptable answer, because I asked for both personal opinion and tournament-WYSIWYG-legal. I don't play in tournaments, but I prefer to adhere to the strictest possible legality. I happen to disagree (since it represents Flight on the model it comes from, after all), but I'd rather have consensus, y'know?

Swooping hawks have wings, thayre jump infantry. Theyre probably just being pissy about it.

I'm pretty sure the only way you can do it is give him more legs or give him an extension from his body in the form of a steed. If you're really skilled you can use the mutated arms in a Chaos Space Marine box sprue and attach feet to them.

Well it all depends on how you model is. How do you know it's not a hoverboard that just kinda glides about. No flying, just...nothing on the ground either. It could go really fast. Twice as fast as normal Marines' speed perhaps.
It's not really a steed, that was pushing it a little.
Mr Momma, for this I request you to think outside the box. That difference is there between a Tzaangor and Ungor in WHFB? Or an Ultramarine and a Blood Angel?
Not much besides their paint scheme. There's nothing really Tzeentch about it, because it doesn't have an icon. No icon = no dedication. I'm sure someone here might have done something similar? Used Chaos parts on a Marine model for some different shoulder pads? A different weapon? In the case of this Disc of Tzeentch, it's much more the rider that defines the allignment, rather than the item itself.
I personally also prefer the one that's on the current WHFB Lord of Tzeentch, with the scraming faces on the back.
On an aside, I'll say that Speed could be modelled as goats legs or hooves, a but like the WHFB Slaaneshi Champion. Shame you can't really see Grimaldus' feet.

Would this be part of the rule that makes Imperial technology available to the Chaos Legions?
