"That's a fair price," Mephistophiles said, a checkbook materializing in his hand. People like Same were easy to satiate. All it took was a bank account and they would do anything, even rewire the corpse of their worst enemy.

Mephistophiles did so, with difficulty. But Faust was relatively easy to knock off his feet, especially given the floors slippery surface. "I don't know why he's so hard to control... he's supposed to have lost all free will!"

Tairusi had been skiing all day at a nearby mountain, sometimes melting a pathway or two to knock out other skiers. The ski's retract into ice skates, a snowboard or roller blades. They were roller skates at the moment. He skated down the street. He suddenly saw two people and a man who looked dead igo inside a house. He put the Blades away. he saw knives sticking out of the girls belt " a shaman" he thought to himseelf.

He went closer to see what was going on.He peered through a window.

"Yeah, there shouldn't be," agreed Mephistophiles, although he sounded somewhat sad. "You know, maybe Faust would have been happier if he'd done this to Eilza.

"Eliza's death really screwed him over," Mephistophiles continued, sighing heavily. "He would probably still be alive if that hadn't happened. But the thing about him was he was an exemplary guy. He'd never do anything bad on purpose, he was a hard worker, honest, HELL of a good doctor..."

"Hey! Be careful!" Mephistophiles said angrily. "I was just saying how peope will always remember him, because he left behind a legacy unrivaled by immortality!"
