BadAzz010 Hmmmm...I play the alto and tenor but I prefer alto...AND i will be learning how to play The Bari. biggrin OMG YAY!! Bari is sooooo much fun! I love all the bellowing low notes. A lot of times the music for the bari seems really boring but when its put together with everything else it's AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Iam_Nobody17 dragonsix that is cool. we have 3 tenors in our marching/pep band. ur lucky, we have 0 tenors one moved away, and the other dropped out after (or got kicked out)(we dont know)breaking the band room window, i was there i saw it all, it was bad so he dropped out and now, we have no tenors only altos In are band we have 4-6 altos, 1 bari (ME! ^.^) and for tenor. The one guy for sure droped out (he hated band what a wierdo), I went to bari, and the last guy he might change.

I play the Tenor Sax in 2 Jazz Bands and in a regular band class. I first started last summer for jazz band and fell in love with it xD. In just about 2 months or so I'll be getting my own tenor (I use a school owned one now). I'm glad I am, because I'm graduating this year and I would like to keep playing.

Mena-Chan I play alto sax and I can't seem to keep my reed from breaking..... sweatdrop I went though 3 reeds this year..... Only 3? pff that's nothing...well at least if you're in Marching Band it's not. I've gone through two boxes this year. D: It's getting really annoying that I have to keep getting out new ones. I have a problem with breaking them while I march. The whole snapping your instrument up at the same time can really hurt your mouth and chip your reed >.< Plus reeds just get banged around a lot more, at least in my case...

I made the mistake of not changing out for a new reed before a football game when my reed was split in several places. During our show, I somehow managed to get a splinter in my tongue. O.o OWWW!!! It's not fun to march with a splinter in your mouth.
