Flailing about wildly, kicking up a fuss as she made an Arceus awful racket, the Pidove would smack Shiloh upside the head several times with her wings, and once to the gut with a tea pot. One could only ponder where she'd retrieved it.
The boy would take the harm in place of his Larvesta, but such a thing wasn't about to actually cease the crazed bird's frenzy. Thus she continued, squawking and dancing, the cup on her head tilting this way and that as she briefly danced the tango with a tea pot.
The boy would take one hit after another, but he rather it was him than his pokemon as he pushes himself up and force the bird back a bit. Blood ran down the side of his face, and it would seem that Valiant who had frozen in that moment would come back to himself.
Fear, real fear had held him still. The Larvesta didn't like that feeling at all as he would lower his head and charge forward without being prompted as he came out from underneath Shiloh and would charge at the pokemon with a full force Zen headbutt.
There was little room for mercy here, especially after what this pokemon had done to his trainer.

That one strike would send the Pidove reeling, along with a large crack in her tea cup. Looking a tad dizy, the Pokemon would stumble about as she tried to find her legs. Surely they couldn't have gone and walked off! No wait that's exactly what legs did...but not without her!
The attack wasn't enough to kill, but the pokemon flinched. Valiant would land heavily with his sides heaving as he prepared himself for another attack. He was sure that his trainer would agree that, especially after how that pokemon had treated them.
No, they would end this quickly and surely and he would start forwards to do just that with his head down.
He was charging forward again with another Zen headbutt. This time, he would put an end to this pokemon once and for all.
Though Shiloh had other plans as a pokeball would fly to land heavily agains the top of the pokemon's head. Crazy or not, it had survive a hit from Valiant and it had attacked so swiftly as to take them all by surprise. This pokemon had potential if he could get past it's insanity.

Was the path of least resistance the right choice here? The meteorite on which Hiro and Dwebble rested was slowly pulled into the Solrock's orbit, and they joined the mad dance around the fake sun. Faster and faster and faster and...
Despite his delusions, the Solrock's abilities came more from the gravitational oddities of this strange crater. His life was not his own. And as quickly as his power came, they would disappear. The Solrock would find himself being dragged down by an invisible force-- the latent hand of gravity, perhaps? He would be dragged down screaming, and the orbit fell apart. It would seem this god's reign was over.
But that wasn't particularly relevant to the trainer. No, what did matter was that his meteorite was now on the other side, and a bit further down the path than he'd initially been. The floating rock steadied, and he'd be able to find that he could stand if he so chose.

Soaring through the air the Pokeball would land with a clink, opening and sucking the Pidove within. Surprisingly it would take the teacup helmet with her. Afterwards it fell to the grass, shaking briskly back and forth once....twice....thrice....before giving a dial tone. Shiloh had done it, he'd caught a Pokemon for the first time, succeeding in at least part of his mission!

>YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO ADMIRE ME!< The loud scream came from slightly behind Gin. If he turned, he'd see a familiar face; the Smoochum he'd just passed, carrying her mirror in her small arms and looking furious. >UGLY THINGS ARE SUPPOSED TO LOOK AT PRETTY ONES! I'M PRETTY! I'M SO PRETTY! HOW DARE YOU?!" With an inhuman shriek, she sent the mirror flying at Gin.
The battle was over as Shiloh found himself wiping the blood from the top of his head as it drops down his chin. The had managed to capture a new pokemon, one that was a bit craze as he would smile lightly at the pokeball as he picked it up.
"it seems we have captured a new friend."
He turned to look at Valiant who was glaring at him in rage or was it horror. He could imagine why, this wasn't exactly what one would call the most reliable of pokemon to be calling his newest addition. But, it could have been worst as the boy would take out his potion from his pocket and call the craze bird out as she look one look at him and squawk in a way that made him glad he couldn't understand her.
The Tea cup was still position oddly on her head.
(What has happen here? I fly and fly and twist and turn, so why am I trapped in such a small world?)
She would ask seemingly confused for a moment before turning her attention to the ground as she picked at one of the shards of her tea cup.
(Pip..Pip, what a blooming waste of tea)
She would declare sounding more than a bit upset about it as Valiant would look at his trainer imploringly. He wasn't against releasing this one as Shiloh without fear would reach over and touch her as he spray her with a potion. There was no sense in traveling with a pokemon took weak to really fly right.
"It will sting only a little bit, but you will be okay, Chai."
he told the bird as she sqwark once more sounding like she was no happy with the treatment at all. In all reality, she thought she was taking quite a delightful shower.
Valiant realized this was going to be a much harder mission than he thought. The fact that his trainer was oblivious to her insanity didn't help matters either as he released the Pidove once he was done healing her. Then Shiloh would take out his pokeball to recall her.
"Let's keep going, Valiant."

The buzzing of rapid wing beats would be the next thing to fill Shiloh's ears, followed the clomp of feat against the ground and the scent of fresh cut crash. There was a flash, and with a thunderous BOOM two sizable trees would fall over, blocking off the boy's path. Even a quick inspection would reveal they'd been cut down.
A gust of wind and the buzzing would stop, a figure appearing before them in the blink of an eye. It would seem they'd stumbled into the territory of a Scyther, and not one particularly keen on allowing intruders to roam free. ">Your life ends here human<" The insect said with a look of utter disdain. Humans were filthy things, leaving death and calamity wherever they went.
Taking in a deep breath, the Scyther would abruptly vanish in a burst of speed. One scythe up, it didn't matter to him what got in the way, this Quick-attack would end the human and it's minions.
No one's luck should be this bad. Shiloh couldn't help groaning as he heard the buzzing and the loud boom as the trees fell in front of him. This wasn't good as the buzzing went away and he would move closer to the trees as he pretended to inspect it while arming himself. His mind was reeling over the possible pokemon that could cut a tree in down like that, and the boy would grab a few rocks from the ground. It wasn't like he didn't have a bad feeling about this as Valiant would move closer to him.
He wasn't going to let it happen again. Not like last time, he wasn't going to let his trainer be caught unprepared for an attack, but Shiloh had no plan of letting that happen to him either. He had learned a very valuable lesson from Chai, and that was this place wasn't predictable at all.
Thus, he was almost prepared as the figured appeared and he would take one step back as though he scared. Though there was no fear in him at all as Valiant would strike an impose pose at his side.
The pokemon would come at him with a burst of speed as Shiloh would throw one rock directly at the pokemon's head as he moved to bring its attack to a stop. No, he wasn't going to go down easily as he reached for a pokeball.
Valiant was strong, but this wasn't a good fight for the bug type.

Sadly Shiloh was no Pokemon, and so his aim wasn't exactly perfect....nor was his speed a match for the Scyther's. With no effort at all the Bug-type would step around the rock as it sailed through the air. The next instant the Scyther's arm would swing down, cutting into the fabric of Shiloh's clothes and leaving a nick across his skin. Being a Pokemon the Scyther didn't wear clothing, and hence hadn't correctly compensated for cutting through it.
Looking a tad confused the insect would dance back, watching carefully for a time. Perhaps it was merely a delayed reaction.
Choosing to keep it's distance the Pokemon would instead begin rapidly beating it's wings, causing them to hum. Shiloh would need to be careful. Bug Buzz wasn't an attack which did it's damage from the outside, but from within!
Shiloh would feel a warmth slide down his skin as the cut went through the fabric to cut his chest. he was just lucky that it wasn't deep enough to actually kill as Valiant disappeared in a flash of red light. The bug pokemon wasn't giving him a lot of openings ...as he felt the pain and wince to himself.
he was definitely taking a beat on this journey as he would grip his next pokeball tightly. He had thought to escape, but that didn't seem possible now.
This pokemon had drawn blood and didn't seem to be quite done with him yet as he fingered Chai's pokeball.
He didn't want to sacrifice her but he saw no other choice. He needed to take this bug pokemon down ...as the buzzing grew louder. He would have to take another blow before he ready to counter-attack himself as he release the pokeball once the sound stop. Once the damage was done.
As the hum grew higher in pitch, Shiloh would soon cease to hear it.....but as this happened he'd feel something warm leaking from his ears. Blood. Whatever note the buzz had hit, it was making his ears quite literally bleed. If he tried to take a step he'd find himself awkwardly stumping. His equilibrium had been thrown off.
Certain that his foe wouldn't be striking back so easily, the Scyther charged forward with another Quickattack.
Shiloh would actually wobble as he went down on one knee. He was hurt, and pretty badly as he found blood draining from his ear and he grip his head lightly. The boy never even saw the incoming bug as it used quick attack, but the bug wasn't about to get away with it unnoticed this time ...as Chai would float above his head.
(I am a little tea pot ...short and stow, here is my feathers and here is my snout. When I get all steam up, flap my wings really hard, and oosps, a gust of wind come out.)
Chai was literally singing as she attacked without command. Her move would send out a gust of wind as she speed it up. It was time to put this bug's attack to a complete and utter stop as it would seem that he was able to attack without end and without fear of what the constant attacks would bring.
This was finally their chance to attack in this endless cycle of attacks.
The wind would be strong enough that it would catch the Scyther's wings, sending him backwards several steps; however it wouldn't prove strong enough to damage the powerfully built insect. Still, the Gust had made the Scyher wary, and so he would raise his arms in defense.
