"Enjoy it while you can, I don't plan on doing it often." Van said, clearly trying to hide his embarrassment when Lupa spoke up. "You're still here? You realize you don't get to be an audience member either, right? This is a private showing, a one time deal, got it?"

The Recorder walked out of the wardrobe dressed in a large, feathered hat, with a puffy shirt, a black vest, a pair of black pants, and, because he couldn't have an outfit without a historical inaccuracy, a pair of black tennis shoes. "So?" he asked. "What do you think?"

"Singing to a pregnant woman that is not my girlfriend? This is probably one of the wierder situations I've been in..." Van muttered as he looked at Angel once everyone left the room. He looked out the window, suddenly realizing he had no idea what to sing, when he seemed to have the briefest of flashbacks. He always thought he'd forgotten most of his mortal life, but it seemed there were a few tiny fragments still floating around in his head. Leaning back against the windowsill, he took a deep breath, and began.((Thank god for sexy sounding Jpop singers that make english covers of their own songs! biggrin And thinking about it, Hyde's voice seems to fit Van pretty damn well, in my opinion. o.o ))

Mala listened silently with her ear against the door. As she listened, her cheeks heated up greatly. Why was he so ashamed of singing in front of more than one person if he sounded that great? {Y'know, it kind of does fit...}

"Why, thank you. Now, what shall be done about your TARDIS, I wonder?" The Recorder thought for a bit. "Obviously, this planet doesn't have the proper materials, I don't think... But!" he paused, holding his finger in the air for effect, "they likely have enough magical energy so that it shouldn't matter. We can get home, or as close to home as we can get."
