Sora glanced back at the deer before placing a hand on her shoulder. "Do you want to leave?" he asked. He didn't want to her to feel uncomfortable while he was happy. That just wasn't right.

Ghost, surprised by Sora's hand on her shoulder, quickly turned. She bit her lip, regretting that instantly and shook her head. "No, it's fine," she said quietly, looking down sheepishly.

Sora watched her carefully and shook his head. "You head back. This is clearly stressing you. I don't want you to be uncomfortable. Head back to the castle." he said, smiling some. He wanted to see if he could make the ghost move on and not upset the poor necromancer anymore.

Ghost shot a grateful look at Sora and started out of the clearing. She crossed her arms and slowed her steps, calming herself down. It was always animal souls that messed with her the most. Not to mention, baby animals. That was just sad. She bit her lip some more and shot a look over her shoulder, hoping that Sora wouldn't stay too long. Even for people not attuned to death like she was, being around a ghost for too long was detrimental.

Sora waited until she was fully gone before sighing deeply. He plopped on the ground and laid down,s taring up at the trees. "Who am I kidding... I can't help ghosts... How and I supposed to help Ghost now..." he mumbled to himself, rubbing his eyes some. Darn it, he was on the verge of tears for some reason.

It didn't take long for Ghost to feel concerned, so she returned to the grove. Already, she could tell that the fawn's spirit had influenced Sora more than it should have. She sat down beside him and put a hand on his shoulder. Though it was through a glove and his shirt, the contact was enough for her to draw energy from the fawn's spirit and push it towards Sora, relieving the sadness in the area. The spirit faded a bit, and the deer in the herd tossed their heads nervously, before running off: frightened of Ghost, now.

Sora looked over at Ghost when he felt her hand on his shoulder. He blinked some, wondering why she had come back to the grove. Wasn't it an uncomfortable place here for her at the moment? And also, it was rather embarrassing she had caught him crying.

"It's gone," she promised softly, tilting her head towards where the deer were. "I'm sorry; I shouldn't have just left you alone like that. Animal ghosts are a lot harder to work with than others."

Sora nodded some and quickly sat up, rubbing the tears from his eyes. "I shouldn't have tried to handle it on my own. But... I didn't want you to be so uncomfortable..." he said glumly. He was trying to impress her or at least seem appealing.

Ghost smiled a little bit, and leaned against Sora a little. She knew that after the touch of the dead, the best healing force was that of the living. Then again, a necromancer was closer to the dead than the living, but there weren't many options.

Sora sniffled a little and nestled close to Ghost. He still felt sad, tears starting to come back to his eyes. He tried to wipe them away, but they were replaced by more.

Ghost tentatively put her arms around Sora, a nervous frown on her face. She was careful that the small area of exposed skin on her wrist didn't touch his arm, and she gently rubbed comforting circles on his arm with her thumb.

Sora stayed close to Ghost, still trying to get the tears from his eyes as he relaxed in her arms. Soon, he couldn't help but go to sleep leaning against the girl he so desperately had tried to help and impress.

Ghost blushed as Sora relaxed, and just when she was going to pull away, she found that he was asleep. Smiling a little, she rested her cheek on the top of his head and closed her eyes, not falling asleep but just relaxing.
Yuke had been in the library, trying to finish some homework, and when it was finally done, he got out of there as soon as possible. The young fox sniffed the air, having gotten the same sense of smell his father and uncle had. Luckily, he caught a fresh scent of Natalia, and followed it to the girl with a smile.

Natalia was carrying armfuls of flowers for Anya's class, trying to hurry back. The faerie had put her on such short notice for ingredients that she was rushing rather frantically.
Sora slept softly in Ghost's arms for a while, enjoying her presence. But after a while, he began to wake, blinking his eyes a little.
