[He hesitated, looking down at his paws, wondering if he should tell Willowheart what all happened. She was a trustworthy cat, so what was the harm?]
"She's in love with Darkshadow," he whispered quickly. He flattened his ears slightly. "I guess it bothers me too much for my own good," he admitted.

Smoke looked at his paws as he padded onward. He didn't care where he was "who knows, maybe some of my family is here." He shook his head "no, there's no way they could be". [Ducky stumbled, her paws slipping over the slick leaves, as she ran like a mad cat, trying to get away from the evil creature that had just touched her moments before.] "No! I won't go! No! No! No! NO! " Ducky screamed behind her back, her little legs pumping, and her face covered in horror. 'Nooo!!! I don't want to..' ]
[Ducky stopped. Her face grew round in surprise, as she saw another small cat, about her size.] "WOAH." she meowed loudly. [She squeaked and clasped her paws against her mouth, falling over clumsily.]

He simply kept on walking, swaying from side to side. Suddenly his legs crumpled beneath him, and he looked almost deathly still, but he had a smile. "Ah, sweet eternal sleep".

[Ducky squeaked with fear.] "He just died didn't he! He just died! He just died! Ohnononononono! And the monster is coming! Ohnononono!" [Ducky rushed her words scrambling toward the cat that had just 'died'] "Wake up! Ohnonononon! He's dead! Ohnonon -Quack!- Noooo!!! STOP SMILING!" [Ducky shook the cat, and stared right into his face, her eyes panicked, and her fur sticking out in tufts.]

[She touched noses with Purepaw and smiled crookedly, her heart filled with pride.]

[Ducky eyes popped open, shocked.] "Your alive!!! IthoughtIthought! -Quack!-" Ducky shook her head, disbelievingly.]
[Ducky remembered the impending danger that was coming returned her gaze to the cat. Narrowing her eyes she hissed. "You must get away from the 'Puffy Thing' It rips the feathers off of your skin!" Ducky shuddered, remembering a distant memory. Then she let out a snort/] "Nowhere to go? Silly little cat! There is plenty to go! The sky! The ground! The whole world!" [She fell back, as she expanded her arms trying to show the size of the world.] "It is EVERYWHERE to go. But for now! You must get away from 'Puffy thing'! Now!" She hissed and gestured toward a small path.

[Hauntedheart decided to leave Leopardstorm alone. The medicine cat padded out of her den and spotted Cinderwing. She titled her head, wondering why he wasn't with Shatteredfang. Her gaze softened as she looked at Cinderwing and a slight smile formed on her lips. The medicine cat took a deep breath and padded over to Cinderwing, her crystal gaze soft and caring for the first time in awhile.]
"Hello Cinderwing,are you okay?" she asked, knowing what he must be going through.

Ducky looked at the cat, miffed. A simply said,] "Your depressing."
[ 'And loopy' She narrowed her eyes, and grabbed the cat by the scruff, desperately trying to drag him. She gave up in a huff of breath ,collapsing on her side.]
[Hopping back up, she squeaked,] "Dope. I'll protect you though! The momma duck taught me how to hiss and flap my wings to scare away things. Look!" [She stood on her hind legs, bared her teeth and started flailing her arms wildly. She aruptly stopped, and sat on the ground.] "Awesome right? So. No need to fear! Ducky's here!" [She giggled at her rhyme, letting out a small quack. She heard a snap, and all the fun snapped off her face, replacing it with a serious stare, her small fangs bared, her arms ready, and her pelt quivering with fear.
