[ ??? : Narnia : Seymour's Castle ~ Grand Hall ]
The young woman nodded. "You may speak now, if you so desire. The sooner you depart, the safer your facade. Besides, the Maester and I are unbound by time's constricting grip- we are in no rush."

[[Louis : Narnia : Seymour's Castle - Grand Hall]]
Louis smiled, "I said don't worry. I just want to talk, that's all. We'll head over to the armory as we speak, come on." With a wave of his hand, Louis moved towards the exit to the great hall that would move into the deeper maze of hallways. He held the door open, waiting for his partner to follow.
[[Moving this to an ATE in case it takes too long in comparison to the pace of the others, since realistically it shouldn't long at all.]]

{Kyle : The Betting Table}
Kyle had seen the Darkness flow off of Cory as he charged, but he didn't expect that attack. He hadn't expected him to use his hands. Or attack at all to be honest. He thought that he had him down for the count. But he had underestimated Cory. Again.
As Cory passed under his arm, he felt an intense pain in his right arm and he just barely managed to hold onto his katars as he ran to Alan's side and, to put it correctly, collapsed onto his knees. His right arm was shot. There was really no point to holding onto the blades anymore. Dismissing them, he noticed for the first time the lines of blood running down his right arm, clearly visible even through the coat and shirt. And, looking at his hands, they were severely swollen. He doubted he'd be able to hold his blades again. Well, without serious pain anyway.
"To be honest, no. I didn't even think about it. Did you expect me to fight as hard as I did? Or did you think I'd go down easily? Honestly." He said, laughing slightly before he tried to make a fist, wincing at the pain it caused. Or maybe slightly more than just wincing.

[Isle of Tortuga ~ Port]
Noelle caught on to the conversation and interjected with a hand motion, sticking her finger in the air and waving it around. "I'm going! I call crow's nest! . . . On second thought, I'd better keep my feet on the deck."
"Well then, lads, it's high time we set sail." Jack began, walking for the docks. "I have a witch to see about a ship, and I'd hate to be late."

[Dawn : Isle of Tortuga : Port/Oceanedge]
"No, not usually," Dawn mumbled with a shrug in response to Joe. Which it was true. She normally wasn't pushy, at least she didn't try to be. Only when she felt someone needed help and wasn't getting it was she pushy.
She stopped kicking the water and continued to stare out at the water. Looking out onto the ocean was better than she ever imagined. She could see nothing but water. She could only imagine what it would be like to sail on those waters.
Dawn let out a sigh at the thought. Then she felt something on her foot.
"Huh, something tickles..."
Dawn whispered to herself as she looked down at her feet in the water. She soon started to make out what appeared to be a shadow. At her foot. Then she felt it again. It felt like someone, or something, was tickling her big toe.
She felt panic rise in her chest, as she drew up the conclusion as to what it could be. A FISH WAS NIBBLING ON HER TOE!
"Oh crap! Get it away from me!" Dawn yelled out in panic as she pulled her feet out of the water and backed away from the edged. She drew her legs to her chest as she breathed heavily.

{James : Tortuga : Port}
James had remained silent as things quickly went awry and then back. A feeling of deja vu as Joe slugged Kyle in the face, just as the corsair had done to Cory. He didn't know what to say to it, he didn't know if Kyle deserved it or not. The last thing he wanted right now though was to fan the flames so to speak. So he remained silent, not really getting too close to anybody in particular as he just mulled over what had happened. Due to his modified senses he could hear Kyle's conversation with Jack. They were going to go find Tia Dalma it seemed. He made his way over to Jack and Kyle, he was ready to move on and get away from this place.
"Let's get us a ship and set sail then! What the...?" He said suddenly, his attention shifting to the direction Dawn and Joe had headed off in.
Due to his hearing, and the fact that Dawn's voice often carried very easily, he heard the distinct sound of her yelling, it immediately put him on guard.
{Auron : Tortuga : Outside Train -> Port}
Auron had gotten to the Port too late to participate in the action of the fight. It had been such a quick battle and there had been nothing he could really do. So he stood in silence as he watched the after math. He watched as one of the boys slugged another, clearly out of rage. He remembered seeing Kyle as he had vaulted off, clearly that hadn't sat well with the other one. He didn't really enjoy seeing comrades fight each other. However, sometimes it happened and there really wasn't anything that could be done about it.
"So we're leaving then?" He asked, his attention turning toward Jack and Kyle.

[Nick :: Narnia :: Seymour's Castle ~ Great Hall]
Nick let out a small relieved sigh before following Louis into the maze of hallways. He turned back to eye his teacher, but was unsure of what to say. If he should even say anything at all. He was in trouble for his negligence, which, of course, was entirely his fault.
"...What are we going to talk about?" Nick asked, looking to Louis as they began their trek to the armory, where new weapons would await him.

[Cory .:. The Betting Table]
The darkness vanished from around the ronin's body as he finally dropped his hands to his sides, the sound of blood droplets hitting the grass beneath him filling his own ears. "Did I expect you to fight so hard? It would be a waste of my time to fight the two of you for your allegiance if I thought you would each go down without any effort on my part. Despite being magically inclined, Alan managed to keep up with several of my attacks, flukes as they may have been. I am surprised by his power. However, while you met my physical expectations, your earth magic is frail and brittle compared to Noelle's and her replica's. With only a kick I was capable of shattering you earthen pillars, though I would suspect this is due to your physically-inclined fighting style. You can't be a master of all aspects." He chuckled a bit before saying, "But to answer your question, no. I expected you to fight harder."
With this, Cory's left arm became enveloped in Indomitable Will as he said, "We both seem to be at our limits, yet we both maintain enough energy for magical attacks. Neither of us can move, nor can we sustain anymore attacks. Should we continue, it will simply end in a stalemate, which would only mean we were wasting time. I propose a draw." He looked over his shoulder, grinning as he said, "I'll forfeit the debt Kyla has to me, and the two of you will serve me for a day. It's a win/win... Or..." The ronin gave a wave of his left arm, his summoning circle appearing under Alan and Kyle as he said, "We can continue this pointless battle, and simply come to the same conclusion. Your choice."

Jacob ll Tortuga ll Port
Jacob couldn't help but laugh inwardly at Dawn's unfortunate encounter with her scaled nemesis. He walked down to the sand, peeling his shoes and socks off. He hated them. He had foot gloves back at his house but...
Home.
The thought angered him. Never in his life had he been without a family, without a home. He felt so displaced and rather miserable. he dug his feet down into the sand, until he was down to his ankles.
"Well then, if we're sailing someplace, we're going to need a boat. I don't suppose you chaps mind doing some strategic acquisitions of the nautical sort?" He looked over to James. He looked tall and gruff compared to everyone else, like a seasoned veteran. Jacob used his moment of free time after the fight to calm down and just stare. His eyes wandered to Auron, Sora, Kyle, Dawn, Jack, James, and Joe. He started to look deeper and memorize their faces, their names. Their outlines, their clothes. Jacob was always terrible with names; it was awkward and bothersome.
He closed his eyes and leaned back in the sand, his shirt billowing in the light breeze. Other than the potential, looming threats of death, and the pint of blood he swallowed, today looked like it'd be pretty dang nice.

[Tortuga ~ Port --> Docks]
"Aye." Jack replied to Auron, before glancing back at Jacob with a perplexed look as they continued to move for the docks. "Strategic acquisitions? Ah, yes, of course."
The pirate captain bent to pick a rock from the ground. He rotated it in his hand before lobbing it as hard as he could towards where the ships were docked. It made a thunk as it bounced off the hull of a ship and splashed into the water.
"Here we are, let us strategically acquire that one. As in get on, strap in, and shut up."
Noelle snickered a bit, following behind Jack as he sauntered over towards the ship. "So . . . how are we going to do this?"
She wanted to see how he planned on getting up there--the loading ramp had been blown into the water by the fierce winds. It took him a little less than a minute of staring up at the hull to formulate an idea.
"I propose we put someone small in a cannon and shoot them up onto the deck, then hope they're alive enough to throw us down a rope ladder." He said, turning the the group with a devious smile.
Noelle backed away and hid behind Prote . . . which was highly ineffective considering his slight transperency. "Ooooor we can do things the easy way!"
The spear wielder scuttled back off the dock and onto land where she stood before the ship's bow. She took a lower, widened stance before shifting her weight back. With one steady and well balanced movement, she shifted her weight forward again and moved her left hand out. The earth responded quickly, forming a flat plank angled up from the ground and resting on the ship's bow.
"See? The easy way."
In her absence, Noelle had trained a lot, all with the help of Titan. He had shown her how to use her body to asist using her earth magic, not so it would be more powerful, but so it would be easier to command. She was still working on it, but she had improved from barely using her body to assist her magic at all.

[Jenny :: Tortuga :: Docks]
Jenny followed behind the group, listening to Jack and every once in a while zoning out to gaze out to sea. She had committed Jacob's and Sayrike's heartsong to memory by now and was now humming a soft medley of sorts of everyone's songs. It kept her mind off of recent events and really, building a bridge between various songs was a welcome challenge. Though she remembered to keep quiet enough that she wouldn't be interrupting on anyone's conversation.
The mage stopped short behind Noelle, careful as to not run into her backside. Stealing a ship? Launching the smallest person? So.. launching Noelle? Jenny was probably the second smallest person, so of course they had cause to worry. Not that Jack would actually launch them in a cannon... not that Jack could get Noelle even halfway across the dock towards a cannon. Jenny watched in a sense of awe as Noelle molded a bridge of sorts straight towards the ship with little to no effort, and the flutist turned back to Jack with a wry smile.
"I definitely like her way."

[Joe: IoT: Port/Oceanedge]
The male looked down at the water when Dawn freaked out, and smiled a little before hopping off the edge and into the water with some of his wind wrapped around his hands.
Soon, the male poked his head above the water, hair in his face and covering his eyes as he lifted his hands up. Encased in a bubble of water, held together with condensed air, was a tiny clownfish.
"Hey, look! I found Nemo!" he said, a small concentrated gust blowing his hair away to free one eye. And when he saw James all tense, he added "It's just a fishy!"

[Dawn : Isle of Tortuga : Port/Oceanedge]
Dawn couldn't help, but feel panic rise more in her chest as Joe lifted the creature out of the water for all to see. She started to back away from Joe even more. (still sitting on the ground) She felt her heart beating wildly as she stared at it. Though Joe was holding it in the air, this was too close for her.
"Get that bloody thing away from me!"
Dawn scrambled away from Joe and ran away. She took retreated behind Kyle, glaring around Joe from behind Kyle's back.
"Joe, put that thing away," she mumbled almost whined, "Can we just get moving...?"

Sayrike::Tortuga
Sayrike laughed at Kuja's response. "You know, the funny thing is that, in our world, sailing is a privilege that only the rich indulge in. It's hardly the commoner's task." It was hard to take a person like Kuja seriously, even though she knew him to be a villain from a Final Fantasy game she had never played. Sure, you didn't have to trust him, but it didn't mean you had to snub him either.
Whispering back to Sora, Sayrike said, "Haha, don't worry. He doesn't bother me. I'm just playing around anyway. But thanks for the warning." She quelled her internal fangirl who was now jumping up and down out of excitement that a video game character had just touched her.
Listening to Jack Sparrow, it seemed that the group had a destination they'd be headed in. It would be awfully boring just sitting in the train, and I don't think this would be the time for sightseeing around here...so why not go with them? Plus, you get to be out on a boat! How cool would that be? How long has it been since my last boat trip, anyway? It had been quite awhile, in fact, and so Sayrike piped up, "I'm willing to volunteer my services with whatever you need!" She still wasn't quite sure what exactly was going on--just the vague outline she had gathered between Kyle and James--but adventure was adventure, right?

{James : Tortuga : Port -> The Challenger(all ships need a name)}
James' attention had shifted back to Jack and the others until he heard Joe yell that Dawn was just freaking out over a fish. That brought a smile to the corsair's and he couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Why am I not surprised?" He asked to no one, while still laughing.
He knew all too well that Dawn was terrified of fish, so he couldn't help but laugh. It really was just an irrational fear, and it seemed like she would never conquer it, and before he could say anything more, the tessen wielder was cowering behind Kyle. He walked up to her and patted her gently on top of her head.
"Get on the boat, then you won't have to worry about fish. Unless it sinks." He said with a chuckle as he walked away, heading along the dock as Noelle summoned the earthen ramp. "Nice trick."
He said to Noelle as he walked up the ramp and jumped down onto the deck of the ship. He hadn't been on an old fashioned boat like this since his trip to Maine, where he had helped a group of tourists haul one of the massive ropes to lower the sails.
{Auron : Tortuga : Port -> The Challenger}
Auron simply nodded his head and followed in silence yet again, heading up the ramp and onto the ship. He still had received no real indication where they were heading.
"No time to waste, let's go!" He said, calling down to the others who had still yet to board.
