I really hate doing this, but I'm going to go ahead and quit the guild - it was nice meeting all of you but I know I'm just taking up powers right now - school and work has been taking up most of my time. In any case it was nice meeting you all, maybe I'll be able to re-join in the future when I get a chance to sit down and have more time smile !

Just when I thought there was no hope left in man/humanity...
Walking through this blizzard in the area I live in is getting, some kind-hearted individual decided to give me a ride (albeit five minutes from my abode) closer to where I live. Said he didn't want to see myself as a headline in the newspaper as a casualty of idiot drivers.
That being said, I grew up in the era of TRUSTING your neighbor... not condoning them simply because they weren't associated with you. It's quite refreshing in this day and age that people, out of the kindness of their hearts, would actually offer a ride to some complete and perfect stranger, out of said kindness.
Makes me think that there's actually hope for the human race... honestly. It does. (If you truly knew how I operated, you would understand completely.)

Meh, I have to trump your story in a negative manner Christian. I had an experience where I couldn't get home from work due to the snow being ridiculous. I had to walk 7 miles home (both uphill and down) in the middle of the street while cop cars rolled by..several of them.
On top of that, Im sorry for my lack of posts. RL has been absconding all of my time...I finally have two opportunities for a position as a firefighter...(oh the irony). I can't wait to up date myself tomorrow though...
