Yeah...Ignore can be yer best friend, sometimes. My prob with RPGs is my character(s) always seem to have much better lives (even the BORING ones have better lives) than I do...sad, really, I honestly get jealous of my characters and take a break from the game when I get the feeling that I need ta snuff 'em...did that before and regretted it a whooooole lot.

So now, I put 'em on hiatus a few days and when I come back to REALITY, I play them again. Many of the hardcores I played with couldn't understand, so I was chucked out of many a group...their loss.

Has this ever happened to you, or anyone reading?

Anyhow I had another moment at the wrestling guild. First I was out of town memorial day weekend. I had been talking about it before within the guild and even requested less matches from the captain because of it. I didn't leave a notice in every single match I was in telling everyone that I was gone because it was a bit after 6AM, I was leaving in a few minutes because I like to get their early to nab the public parking in the deck (I only have to pay there once and stay parked for all three days since it's free on holiday weekends).

I did tell someone that I would be away thinking they would do as I would. Check to see if the person has been online lately, ask around, send a PM as is customary when a person is absent. I assumed too much. One guy started the match 2 hours before I got home, PMed me AFTER he did that, then got on my case about it when I asked if he couldn't wait.

Anyhow I let that go and posted, I wasn't even bothering his character when his yelled then attacked mine. I countered with a move that he later PMed me and told me that it was impossible. Now without getting rude or anything I told him how it was possible and how it felt like he was gunning for me. I was called a b***h for not getting all bright eyed and thanking him for taking time out of his life to tell me what he thinks that I did wrong.

Afterwards it became this thing where he was getting more and more angry the more calmly I replied to him my argument. He tried this sort of threat where he said he could ask the other 'pros' of the guild for their opinion (which he already said he consulted before PMing me). I said go ahead that I would love to explain to them why I did what I did.

In the end I never got a reply, and he ended up changing his post twice while I didn't edit a thing. I find it funny in a way that he was the one complaining and acting like the elite pro yet he was the one who changed things.

I know that I wasn't completely in the right here but I wasn't completely in the wrong either.

What would they do if you told them if you were color blind?

That's why I like the other forum sites that limits how much you can do to your post to just two things.

For me my current one is people who ditch a one x one in the planning stage, or just when you make the thread to start posting. I've had that once this week so far. The girl plotted out with me, I made the thread with character skeletons, posted mine, and just was waiting for her to post her character and intro. She never posted. After a few days and seeing t hat she was active else where I asked if she was going to post. The PM I got said that her internet had been spotty (A lie as she had been on all day for the two previous days) and that she was going on a trip soon and would have to say no to the roleplay. When I tried to reply, she put me on her ignore list preventing me from trying to ask if we could just start after she got back.

Same thing happened with a guy that we had only got a few posts in, and he hasn't posted but I've seen him active. PMing to ask about activity has been ignored. -growls-
