Amnity inconspicuously put her arm around her stomach. "...I've been better...How about you?" She felt a bit embarrassed, if he didn't answer the door, she would have knocked it down and barged in.

"I`d tell you I was fine, but Mephlius probably already smells my blood." He looks down, feeling kinda stuipid for thinking he could hide it, but then he lifted his head and tried to change the mood. "Have you two been having fun? I know you didn`t need to stay in here that long."

Mephlius opened the door, and walked in. ((Nobody else opened it.)) "Well, it's been a while, Kuro."

Mephlius smelled Kuro's blood. "Well... I'm guessing that you aren't feeling that great..."

Amnity walked in too, wishing she had the ability to smell and differentiate other people's blood like Mephlius can. "...Yeah...I think I'm well enough to leave...But Dr. Gail kept insisting I stay." She thought for a minute...Maybe she'll just try to escape again.

Kuro laid back onto the medical bed, "You kidding, this place is great! Makes me glad that I switched to the hunters, free meals, a day of rest, and all they ask for is a few hunts. These injuries are nothing, i`ll heal up in no time." He was feeling overly optimistic today, his way of taking his mind off more serious matters.

Amnity chuckled a bit at Kuro's optimism. "I have to disagree with that Kuro. I'd kill to get out of this hell hole. I can't do ANYTHING fun, and I hate being in the same place for too long." She looked down at her attire and grimaced. "And they make you wear uncomfortable, itchy, hospital robes. I really just want to go out and hunt again." She missed the thrill of hunting, despite the many fatal situations it brought her.

Amnity nodded, then looked around a bit. A question was burning in her mind though, maybe it was the appropriate time to ask it. "...Hey Kuro...Is it worth it?...Being a hunter I mean." It maybe a bit personal...Aw well. "....Being ridiculed and hunted by your own race?...Having to avoid your friends in fear that you may have to hunt them?..."

Kuro thought, he hadn`t really been hunted at all previously, and now by what seems like a mob. On the other hand, he no longer had to fight to feed. He now thought about his previous friends, who he was just getting to know, when he suddenly had to avoid them. He scratched his head and waited for them to return when he said to himself, "Was it really worth it?"
