Yup, there is sand. ^8^

At least there is a rather large sand bar on the farthest side and some large things to jump and dive off of into the water. ^8^

Harvey, do you know what Dollywood doesn't have? It doesn't have me... nor will it ever see me. (Country music?! AHHH! SAVE ME!)

Wish I COULD bring you some shells fresh from the sea. Wish I could bottle sea breeze for both of us. Hehe yeah shells last forever. Where are yours from?

Yup the vastness of the sea really puts things in perspective. And since there are so few lights at night, the night sky is so full of stars. Not as good as the Grand Canyon, but almost.

My shells are from Myrtle Beach, a Florida beach at the Gulf of Mexico, Ocean Isle, and a few other beaches. I wish that I could just live on a beach surrounded by sand... next the ocean... having the waves as my lullaby every night. Ohhhh... That would be wonderful...

Yeah, Country Music is kinda a aquired taste a bit.

I grew up with it around for most of my life in some form or another, and even now though it (Country Music) isnt my favorite kind of music I still have a place for the "Older" Country Music.

@JJ - You've been to a bunch of beautiful beaches. I love the East Coast silky white sands, don't you? Are you in NC? Did I know that and forgot? I totally agree, the sound of waves on the shore is a great sound to fall asleep to

@ Giesta - Country music is a taste I acquired. It's unavoidable, being in the Sweet Sunny South. I don't mind. And country music has evolved. It has rock instruments and elements lately. And I have a crush on Shenia Twain <3

@ Emo Commander Trinity - Welcome. Come back soon and often.

I lived in North Carolina for a very long time, so I acquired the Country music taste, too. Not all of it, but most of it. Also, it's Shania. (with an 'a'...) xp

It's gonna be 99 degrees here tomorrow. Mercy!!! Wish I was back at the beach.

It's gonna be 94 degrees in Gatlinburg tomorrow. Not much better. *waves to Giesta and hands an iced tea*

@Kin - Thanks for the spelling. Shania... awesome. What is it with dudes messing up their relationships with their gorgeous women -- Mutt Lange, Tiger Woods, Hugh Grant. Are they blind?

I don't know how the west coast's beaches are, but NC has some beautiful beaches... and Florida had a beautiful beach until those idiots messed it up.

I am was born and raised in NC, but oddly enough I detest most country music. I have always been pulled in every other way other than country music. (But yeah, Shania Twain really is a beautiful woman.)
