Vhozd followed after Polly, and when he saw her trying to detach Chryseis' leg, he aimed a sharp kick at her butt.
Ecchymos didn't need to touch Jack - he stared at the place where Jack's eyes would be, and recited another incantation.

PRO-1 walked into the lab and looked around. "Yes, I suppose this will suffice. But first...." PRO-1 held his arms up in a boxing stance. His gatling guns popped up and with a loud series of clangs and a loud whir, his gatling gun began spinning and started ejecting rounds onto the floor. When he reloaded his gatling guns with new rounds his guns closed and he put down his arms. "There, a soldier never gets himself caught with a half full magazine. Now then, i can continue with my objective." He sat down at one of the tables and using the tools built into his body, he began working. The dark room was soon lit with the fly of sparks and PRO-1 red eyes.

Polly yowled.
"OWWWWWWWWW!"
She lost her breath for a few moments.
"You... You...!"
She summoned more hordes of gingerbreadmen.
"I knew it! The lesser-equipped ones are the WORST!"

Jack's eyes popped wide open.
"Were you expecting them...?"
His clothes lit on fire.
"You're hel;ping me, due to my cold blood. I thank you. Now..."
His hand nearly brushed agaisnt Ecchymos' forehead.

Ecchymos stepped back, flipping through the book again. He found the ice spells and read the first incantation on the list.

Jack's hand stretchedout more, so it was at the same distance.
As his clothes were still on fire, the ice did nothign but melt into wwater and cancel out the fire.
"Hmm."

Ecchymos took another step backward and cursed when he felt his back touch the cold wall. He repeated the ice spell's incantation. Vhozd, meanwhile, smacked at the gingerbread men attacking him, but he couldn't kill them all. He ignored Polly and attempted to get the little things off of him.

The ice covered Jack in thick spikes.
"Wh...What..."
His eyes narrowed in horror, and then, angrily, he distracted himself with pulling the spikes off.
"You..."
Polly took out the caramel gun.
"Want to heat up a bit?"
"That stuff is like lava, Polly."

Ecchymos took advantage of Jack distraction to slip past him. He began running towards Monoe and Chryseis.
"Hey could I get some help, he's trying to touch me!"
Vhozd, meanwhile, decided to ignore the gingerbread men and attck his main problem, which seemed to be the 'lava'-like substance Polly was going to attack him with. He ignored the gingerbread men and stood ready to dodge Polly's attack.

Monoe gasped.
"Say no, then get outta there!"[[X'D]]
Chryseis was trying to reconnect her leg, but was laughing.
Jack pulled off the spikes with his two hands.
"If only I had more... oh."
A few more hands appeared on his back, pulling off the ice spikes.
"...I forgot."
He reached forward with another hand.
"Hmm."
Polly looked at Vhozd.
"Eh? I wasn't gonna hit YOU with it! This is reserved for special occasions, and for you..."
She took out a obviously often-used licorice whjip, attempting ot attack him wiht it.
"..this'll suit you nicely."

Vhozd blinked, and the whip made a loud 'ping' noise as it hit his armor. he walked towards Polly.Ecchymos had moved out of Jack's range, but turned around. He repeated the incantation over and over, attempting to encase jack in ice before he could pull off the spikes.

Polly gave a yipe, and then turned into her opossum form, running away. Jack, becoming frustrated [and wishing to distribute the arrea of the spell], turned into a medium-sized snake.
"Safety, safety!", Polly cried, and she jumped into Jack's mouth.
And he swallowed her.
The room went silent.
"Wh.... What..." Monoe said.

"Right" Dimitri said simply.
Cassey pulled on the chain with all her strenght, which being mechanical was quiet abit.
Kogi was pulled forword. He regain himself and kept running forword. he lept up and pulled the chain, pulling himself towords cassey. he grabbed the half of the staff he had with him and landed on Cassey. He planted his feet on either shoulder and thrust the blade forword.
Cassey brought up her right arm and blocked the blade with the pole she still had.

As the light had come back on by now, Valentine's Report Show came on.
"To resume our former broadcast, our feature was Jack Monkeypaw."
She took out a picture of Jack with, as usual, no face.
"He is a man evolved from a snake over thousands of years, and is the first man of all universes. He is also the totemic source of dreams and nightmares, and, in creationist myths, he is said to be the one who enabled that function. He shaped the basic human and animal psyches, and enabled both to have feelings. However, the only emotion he comprehends... is love."
There was a pause, and Reynard punched Valentine in the head.
"I'm kidding, obviously. He is either aloof or enraged. Nobody knows where the flip is, but I happen to be one of them... either way. When this guy is at full, even moderate, power, don't piss him off. He's... equal in power to me and Chryseis, you know. Which may not sound like much, but, if you consider the fact that me and Chryseis are reincarnations of beings who created the universe... it's kinda big."

Ecchymos, although highly confused and weirded out, saw his chance. He concentrated as hard as he could, and cast an ice spell down Jack's throat. Vhozd stood next to Monoe, dumbstruck.

The snake hissed, and its tail went down its throat to knock off any ice pieces.
"I don't even see why you try. I am near the peak of my power..."[[/semi-lie]]
Monoe gasped.
"No! He did nothign to you! Daddy did!"
She covered her mouth in horror.
"Your father?", Jack said, confused.
