I saw the trailer to that the other day, but it did not really give me any clue as to what the movie was about... besides shooting.. sweatdrop
I am a bit worried about the hunger games movie thats coming out... I read the books as a kid and liked them. After re-reading them now, I see a lot of flaws in the books, but since they are young adult... you kinda gotta expect stuff like that.
But from the looks of it, they are going to slaughter the movie. The books had a love interest, but it was... Fake. Pretend. At least on the main female leads part. She just wants to go home and take care of her sister. She does not want marriage or kids..But they are looking like its going to turn into a twilight thing all over again. Her torn between two men who try and woo her and are madly in love with her...

Sometimes I hate having read books before movies... I am always let down by them. Where as if I read them after, I enjoy the books so much more since I have low expectations

Where as if I read them after, I enjoy the books so much more since I have low expectations I know, I love the books and then often I just refuse to watch the movie because I know it is going to be a bad representation of the book and ruin it for me after Ive seen the movie version. The books always seem to be a million times better than the movie version every time. 3nodding

A Song Is Born I am a big book nerd smile I love reading. Books are almost always better than the movies. I do agree, I have a bunch of of books as well though most of mine are Sci-Fi and Alternate History. (I do like a few old Lit. books though)

Giesta A Song Is Born I am a big book nerd smile I love reading. Books are almost always better than the movies. I do agree, I have a bunch of of books as well though most of mine are Sci-Fi and Alternate History. (I do like a few old Lit. books though) Mine are mostly Sci-Fi, or fantasy. 3nodding 3nodding
