Solid Snake sat in the room of a small hotel. He was taking a short break from the Nomad, from MREs and Sunny's eggs, although it had to be said that the later had improved considerably. He was taking a little time to feel what it was like to be remotely like a normal person. Although he could never be like other people, although he would never experience life the way others do, it was a nice change of pace. And on the Colonel's dime, too, which was good. The strange thing was, he'd felt the need to take some of his equiptment with him, the kind that he shouldn't ever have a need for again. Then again, he shouldn't have ever had to deal with Liquid again after the Shadow Moses incident, or with Big Boss or Gray Fox after Zanzibarland, so who was to say? He had just finished eating, when he decided to look out the window. The view he recieved was insanity. "Damn." He touched the left side of his neck, just under the jawline, and called Otacon over Codec. "Otacon."

"Snake? What's wrong?" Otacon's voice was heard in his inner ear, at a volume that only he could hear, thanks to his Codec radio implant.

"There's people flying outside the building I'm in. I brought the Mk. III with me. Take a look." Suddenly, he was glad he had brought everything.

The Metal Gear Mk. III came to electronic life from the corner of the room, and wheeled its way to nearby the window. It jumped up and down a little, trying to get a view, prompting Snake to help it by picking it up and setting it on top of a dresser. Its camera head swiveled back and forth, taking in the view. Otacon's voice became disbelieving. "Snake, those are... comic book characters."

"Comic book characters?"

"Yes. They shouldn't even exist in real life. Something's wrong, Snake."

"No kidding." So much for spending the rest of his life in peace. He walked back to his suitcases, and pulled out his equiptment. OctoCamo. Weapons and ammo holster. Bandana. He put on everything deliberately, methodically, and with a quickness and ease achieved through practice and time. He walked to the Mk. III and opened the terminal portion, then retrieved from within it the Solid Eye, the Mk. 2, and the Operator. He holstered the weapons, and put on the Solid Eye over his left eye, sliding the straps under his bandana. Now, all he needed was a plan.

Reaper's eyes darted to the other two that had just been lifted out of range. He snarled at them a second, and went to lash out, but his attention snapped away from them momentarily. Shadow and fire both began wraping around a small invisible wall. Shadows around him soon found more...surrounding him.
Rage was absolutely unmistakeable on his face again, and the flaming darkness went nuts again. He started to destroy the forcefields around him and snapped his attention back towards the heros. They were trying to BOX HIM IN?!
He let out a nasty roar and sent a telekenetic shock wave towards both the witch, and the entire building she was on.

Elijah was on top of a building when he saw something moving he jumped off and tried to land on it.

Elijah looked and ended up falling down then flew up next to the Scarlet Spider and said "Hey, your...the Scarlet Spider right."

"Name is...," He struggled to say his name so then said "Ummm Dark Ace."

"I didn't want you to be impressed, I am actually new..I am impressed of meeting you." He said trying to control his powers.

"I need your help..........with my powers, as you can see I can barely fly." He said moving up and down in the air. "I just noticed I had them for like 3months now."
