Misa eyes faded back to normal and she got out of the stance of guard. She ran out to Kaori. "Are you alright, Kaori?" She asked. "Ok. Thats good." Misa looked around just to check if Mergex was around in case Gordon did not have correct saying. Once done she looked back to Kaori. "I seen this kind of thing before."

Kaori whimpered again as Sai spoke, quietly taking in his words. Another scream started to escape but she automatically bit it back without thinking. When he suggested holding his hand she shook her head quickly, afraid she'd hurt him with her claws. Instead, she whimpered agian, more loudly this time, and let go of her face with one hand. She grabbed the ground, claws instantly sinking into the earth. Her hand gradually went deeper as she squeezed harder. But she still refused to scream.

She sensed Meghan approaching and placed her head more firmly against the earth as the girl arrived. "I-I am..." she said, voice muffled so they hopefully couldn't hear that it was shaking with the effort not to scream. Sia's words echoed in her mouth and she whimpered one last time in defeat. Her eyes were still shut, but her hand slid down to her mouth, sandwiched between it and the grass. She finally let herself scream, loud and long, but partly muffled, and she didn't stop until she ran out of breath. Then she simply renewed it, her hand still burrying its way into the earth.

"Why are you blaming yourself? You weren't even here for it," Sai said, narrowing his eyes. He knew he felt the same way, but he didn't quite understand why Gordon was blaming himself. He exchanged a glance with Meghan before hugging Kaori, his hands on her shoulders, as she continued screaming. I... can't do much for her right now, he thought, feeling useless.

"That may be your weakness," he said, picking up his head, "but it's also your strength." Wow, that sounded old fashion, he thought as he put his head back down. He wasn't quite sure if he believed what Gordon said that it was his fault because Mergex was going after them, but either way, they all chose to fight him none the less and got tangled in his web. The only one there that hadn't been included so far, was Meghan and perhaps Misa.

Pander's voice changed as he spoke to her. A small smile spread across his face.

Yume, I'm fine. I haven't left you or anyone else.

Jangen had placed his soul in Pander's body so that Pander could continue to be taught by Jangen on an on going basis and so that Jangen could continue to protect those he cared about.

With this bonding, Pander recieved much of Jangen's skill. Pander had always been aware of Jangen but he had always thought it was his imagination. Now he knew. The old man was inside him.

He let her cry into his chest, holding her close to his warm body. The fur on his cuffs and collar blended nicely with the fur from his cloak. Both were soft and warm. He wrapped the cloak around Yume, leaning his head down ontop of hers.

Kaori finished another scream, and the next dropped to a strained whimper. She sat holding her face, listening to Gordon and the others as he spoke. "A-a patch?" she murmured, gritting her teeth. Her head was still against the ground, but she shook it side to side as he blamed himself. She felt someone hug her but tried to relax as she sensed it was Sai. From his next words, she made a hesitant guess that he was blaming himself as well. Why? Why were they punishing themselves for her mistake?

"N-no," she whispered, slowly sitting up. "I ch-charged in... without thinking." She paused, one hand over her eye, and the other across her mouth and muffling her speach, as she listened to Gordon speak again. "We involved ourselves," she said softly. "Please, don't blame yourself..." She was able to mask her pain now, and even hold her voice steady. The only indications of her hurt was that she still held her face tightly, and her tail was thrashing roughly against the ground, leaving little indents in the ground where it hit. She glanced at Sai through her left eye and nodded. "Strength in numbers..."

Kai stood back watching the others, arms folded across his chest. Kei was on his head, watching with wide eyes. Slowly, the small dragon flapped his wings and soared over towards Kaori. But, still hesitant to approach her and fearful of injuring her, the dragon settled on Sai's shoulder instead, as he was the closest to her. Kai's face was darkened with a frown as he watched his half sister. "An hour..." he muttered under his breath. He could almost sense her pain, rather than feel it, and knew how hard she was trying to hide it. In the short time he'd known her, he'd discovered she hated worrying others. And now, here they all were gathering around her... He sighed softly and crossed over, picking up Kaori's discarded dagger and sword. He held them in his hands as he waited for her to recover.

Gordon kept looking. " The fights over! Someone....is leaving...there injuried though. Really bad. There life aura is fading. I can't tell who. It way to far away....I hope its Shepard....but then...that means he's dieing..no!" Gordon said looking fearfully in the distance.
