Everything I got at Target apparently fell out of my bag and is now lost somewhere, I have no idea where... but its gone. It was only wet wipes and deodorant... but I kind of needed both. gonk
I just keep losing things since I moved here. It pisses me off.

Dear AG-ers in college:
Please tell me your experiences with financial aid. I really want to go to school full time. Which also means I get to quit my job.
I'm doing a two year community college two year state college deal. I am doing a degree in education so the state will pay $10,000 a year off of my debt.

This might possibly be the strangest question you might get on this... but has your father or your mother have been in the army, marines, other, etc and are retired and are disabled (in anyway)?

I should mention I do not live with, or near my parents.

Me and my older brother get money from the VA to go to college. That's all. Community College or any other sort of college. Like so many units you get money, say 12 units and you get $900 a month. It's because my dad is a disabled veteran from the Vietnam War.

Most college students (and former college students) that I know have horror stories about the financial aid department at their school. Ask Stream sometime about what Johnson & Wales did to him. However, once I turned 25, getting grants suddenly got easier for me. But as someone else mentioned, there are certain things that might make it easier for you to get financial aid. And as a side note, I love this dress...

...because I REALLY want to quit my job and go to school full time. Josh wants me to as well. And if the state is going to pay off $10k a year, I might as well go for it.
