Yoder Talon TDS Yoder Umm... Yeah, the human mind is limited. To me, most of the ideas in this guild seem to have been done over and over, time and time again. Sure there might be some interesting twists, but they are fundamentally all the same monotonous boring stuff. Wow . . . that is incredibly pessimistic and disheartening. I had no idea you were so against the attempts of growth in our guild. NOTE: Everything I said here was about the Rolplays only, because the guild's advertising methods aren't even close to being exhausted. Well, you can't argue that it isn't true, can you? I'm not against guild expansion, because, to new-comers, all the old ideas are new. It's the balance of the cycle. In other words, the way things are and go. ~~~~~TheKnightmare Yoder It's okay, Goldfsih, just don't be too excited to go to colleeg for programming, because many are overwhelmed by the complexity of the languages they must learn and fall out. ~~~~~ Umm... It is much easier for me to prove the insignificance of the human mind. FF7? Oh my goodness, haven't you noticed that all of the FF storylines are practically identical with no originality in characters at all? I mean, RPs and RPGs are becoming too similar. It really sickens me. You only speak from what you have seen. Just because someone hasn't used a new idea before doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Actually, there are other time periods like western, and WWI/II just to name a few. Kraven Krowz This is a little odd. I use to be semi-active on here with a variety of disturbed characters, or just plain odd-balls. I'm looking for the character application for a specific one. He's a vampire named Nemirranderous. If anyone on here knows what I'm talking about, or which RP he might be in (so I can copy and paste my old character sheet), then could you please PM with the information. I thank you for your time... I think you were in the Witch Hunter RP made by ShadowPhoenix88 a few months back. He is gone and so is his roleplay. I'm sorry for your loss. Squaresoft, oh excuse me, SquareEnix's characters are lame but most of their storylines are all the same. Hence this is why I already mentioned FF7 and FFT, because the others were sort of lame. Roleplays here,at GAIAONLINE, are sort of repetitive, but from what I see here at guild so far I haven't seen repetitive things, aka FOREST ROLEPLAYS or ALL GIRLS BOARDING SCHOOL. And yes your right I'd have to live forever. Sucks to be me. Yes there are THOSE WWII and Western, but if they took those categories and made it into an RPG it'd be boring as hell. Well to me anyways it'd be boring I don't know if people find WWII or Western RPGS fun. Well, maybe in the time you've been here they haven't been so visibly repetitive, but over time, you'll see it. Well the all girls boarding school idea is a good one that many do not do. Well, there are ways to make something interesting. Ooohh, colonial could be fun too! It would have elements of both midieval and western in it. You never know. Another pet peev of mine is that in RPs, it seems everyone has in common: A sword A boot dagger A headband A scar from the bad guy long ago Dead parents A destroyed village Elemental magic Enhanced senses Faster running Higher jumping 1/2 angel, demon, vampire, werewolf, elf, dwarf, zombie, cat, lizard, dog, or some lost ancient tribal ancestry. (What is the crime with being completely one thing or another?) In light of this arguement a few pages back, I must ask a favor Yoder who seems very observant in similarities. I mean this whole-heartedly. Can I PM you any character submissions I ever make to see if they pass an originality test with a grade of "decent" if not better? I know you may think I'm trying to be a jackass, but I pride myself in odd-ball characters and/or social ********. So...what do ya say? wink
