Nah, just the shape of the brush.

Part of the curriculum I'm in requires us to learn a weapon, and the weapon they happen to be teaching is nunchucks.
(I kinda wanted to learn bo staff first, but they're pretty darn cool too heart )Oh wow, I haven't seen nunchucks in forever!! Interesting tidbit about myself, I'm a second degree black belt in karate with a background in kickboxing, grappling, and freestyle.It's defintely a lot easier to learn katas with nunchucks before moving onto the staffs. If you think being able to swing the nunchucks are hard, wait until you have to deal with twirling and spinning the staff around your neck and in front of your face.

i painted these. the first is acrylics and the second watercolor. the second is incomplete. it's about 1/3 done, with the first base painting sone, and some detail added. i'm probably going to spend an estimated 10 more hours on it. it looks haggard right now, but by the time i finish, i think it'll look much better. the first is really old, so it's mediocre, but the symbolism is still intact.
