Why am I thinking of ZZ Top right now? Specifically "Under Pressure" with the whole - She likes whips and chains?

hilaroma EdwardHau So after having the CD on continuous play in my car for the last week, I've decided that this could possibly be Jimmy Eat World's best CD.
It is extremely rare that I can find a CD that can be listened to over and over, without growing tired of even one song.. Even better than their first one?? surprised [/still hasn't had a chance to listen to Futures] In my humble opinion, better than any of them. Even Bleed American, which I thought could never be topped. I mean, I don't claim to be especially knowledgeable about music, but this CD is freaking great.
You should listen to both of them. And the EP Stay on my Side, songs on there are awesome.

Peppermint Elf Streamjumper TweedleKeys LunaInverse I want this cake for Stream for our wedding... rofl Cute. Groom's cakes often seem more interesting than the wedding cake on a whole. While at Disney, my friend pointed out a Mickey & Minnie wedding cake topper and said Diffy and I could use that. I said that we were probably more like if Goofy married Daisy. He said he wasn't sure who that was meaner to. That's because most brides (and their mothers, and many grooms) are dead convinced that everything about a wedding has to be utterly serious, white, and devoid of anything but the same old blah. Yet strangely at the same time totally different and better than everything else that it is a carbon-copy of. It's kinda funny. I watch Bridezillas and just shake my head. Some women are quite.... stupid when it comes to weddings. "ZOMG!!1! This is my day and it has to be perfect or I'll die!"
My groom (should I have one) is gonna be massively lucky. I just want a cake and a ring. It doesn't even have to be a nice ring or a fancy cake. It can be a $12 cake from the grocery store. xd ... ... Can he deliver it to your house and sing you a silly song? Because I'm totally about to be doing that. *wink wink*

Streamjumper Luna and I just want a cake, a ring, and a luau. The wedding and reception we want is something small and casual, maybe with a pig roast as the meal, everyone wearing khakis, mu-mus, and hawaiian shirts. Leis and straw hats, etc. And tiki gods on the tables. SUPERIOR WEDDING IS SUPERIOR

Streamjumper hilaroma FanFicGuru Dear Japanese Language (most notably the written portion), You're very difficult. Granted, I think you're awesome...and mastering you would be great for my career...but do you think you could simplify yourself a bit? As it is memorizing over 150 characters has made my brain explode in the last couple of weeks, and now I need to start studying kanji too. Much appreciated, FFG You haven't even made it to Kanji yet and you want it to be less complicated?! BWAHAHAHAHAHA........ rofl I have nothing helpful to offer Fanfic, so I'll just express pride in the actions of my sporeling. Ppride? redface *in an explosion of pure happiness, wipes a town off the map*

ravendream Streamjumper ravendream gonk Psy sounds so freakin' unhappy. He's upset about missing the Halloween event and I guess he can't really contact anyone except me until he has the internet... someone help me think of cheerful surprises for my favorite skanky robot Muffin?? I can't remember if I have his cellphone number or not, but if I do, I might call him at some point to wish him well. So, when is he expecting the series of tubes to reach his current location once more? He said he may be off for months, but possibly able to get on every other weekend. If you don't have his number, then I do, but calling him is pretty useless. He's never got his phone on, so pretty much you'd have to wait for him to call you instead. I've gotten him in the habit of checking his voicemail by leaving him five at a time though. PROGRESS. He's pretty down though. Bored, upset about missing Phoenix Wright (guess they took his DS too), unable to talk to anyone here, all that kind of stuff. I feel really bad for him. Wait wait, what happened to Mega? eek

I can understand what you're saying though. It's more of a solid commitment. I totally understand, but I guess because of the "predicament" I'm in I guess I can't see a huge deal about marriage. It would be nice to eventually, yes, and especially for the benefits...but we're all different too in how we are in relationships. As Spider mentioned too, a promise ring may also be another form (though not technically as binding) to consider.
I dunno. I've got incredibly mixed feeling about marriage. It's a matter of preference, I suppose. I'm hoping that other states pick up Gay Marriage... or at least more take the Rhode Island route of saying they'll respect marriages performed in Mass if they feel a burning need to take the easy way out. Yeah, it'd suck to have to take the long trip here, but baby steps are better than no steps and a great way to show people that gay marriage isn't going to destroy anything. It will assimilate slowly just like anything else. No big deal. Just when people come to their senses.
.....that's when the defences come down and I can unleash my fury of economy-wreckin' twisted You know, Ed's the one I'd find more excited at the notion of catching anyone with their pants down... I guess it just goes to show, once again, that one does not get the gay.

My fiance' and I are planning our wedding now, even though it's not until 2011...lol. We're having the wedding on our 5th anniversary of dating. We'll probably have ~100 guests and she wants to have it outside in a forest area or big open field. My friend is going to bring his band and they'll provide the music. It's going to be awesome. I'm so excited. My dad's footing the whole bill too. Thanks dad!

On a non-related to weddings note ... I finished watching Kenichi yesterday.
What an utterly pleasant show! I was very happy about a number of things: [whited out for spoilers] 1. The fact that Miu never got defeated and wasn't discarded like most female fighters who are not the main focus are.
2. The fact that Kenichi wasn't the only one capable of beating the real badasses of the show. Berserker vs. Hermit was a damn awesome fight. As was Kisara vs. Freya.
3. The fact that it speaks to a very important element in the realm of martial arts and other such things - hard work and dedication go much further than talent alone. (though as Hermit points out - talent + hard work = EPIC WIN
4. All of Kenichi's victories point back to his training.
5. MIU MIU MIU MIU MIU MIU MIU MIU MIU
