-Vel mearly smirks- Yes, and i too can contort them -he grins deeply as he steps towards a close shadow, he passes into the shadow and vanishes, he then walks right out of another, passing through them like a door in time and space- Shadows are great allies, when used correctly -he snaps his fingers and the ones closest to him become under his control-

Kuro snickers "You are mearly a psychic vampire" he waves his hand as all the shadows sink into the ground, even those that were meant to be controlled by Vel "I am almost completely shadow, though strong your powers are, you would have to be more pure shadow then I am to control these shadow beings, these are ancient shadows and believe in very old ways" Kuro then all of a sudden charges at Vel "How bout a little fun fight"

-he grins evily as Kuro charges at him, he then raises his arm and sends a Psyonic blast at him, with wide enough of an arch that it digs up the verry ground as it moves- Lets...

The blast almost hits Kuro but he fades away just in time and fades back in a few paces behind Vel. He then turns and throws a shadow ball at Vel

-Vel watches him fade, so he quickly surrounds himself in a flux of energy, and as kuro tosses a ball of energy at him, he merely smacks it away like a little bug- Come now, i know you can do better then that, such old tricks, i know them well -he grins and sends a quick pulse blast at kuro, it flies through the air like a spear-

Kuro moves to dodge it buts gets hit by some of the blast and is knocked back a bit. Kuro stands firmly on the ground as shadow flames surround him and then sprints at Vel making the flames spread around him to try and entrap him

-vel quickly ducks low and sends a Psyonic arch out around him like a shield-

The flames surround Vel in the sheild and do not die down, as Kuro stands a bit back, his eyes completely black just standing there maintaining the flames, trying to see who busts first, his flames or Vel's sheild

-Vel realizes what is going on and strengthens his shield, forceing the flames backwards and away from himself, as he stands he forces the flames back against kuro, pulsing his aura, he charges his shield and sends a Psyonic blast through the shield at Kuro-

Kuro does not move, but the flames gather back inbetween the blast and Kuro and then the start to push towards Vel

-Vel feels the flames pushing back at him, so he quickly sends a Psyonic push at Kuro's ankles, trying to knock him off of his feet-

Flames try to stop the blast from hitting Kuro's ankles but fail so the blast knocks Kuro's legs back behind him making him spin before landing on the ground, his eyes back to normal, and the flames dispensing. Kuro looks up and sees the blast coming at him but doesn't move in time and is knocked back and gains a few cuts and what not. Once the flash of the blast dies down Kuro can not be seen for he hides, for now waiting for his next chance during this fight

-vel turns down his shield to an armor like plateing around his body, to protect from any attack, he watches kuro slide and vanish after the blast, he readies himself by closeing his eyes, letting his sences feel everything around him, he lifts his one hand infront of him, and the other behind him as he ducks down into a stance-

Kuro sits on a building roof leaning against the edge walling keeping his energy levels down low evough not to be sensed. Kuro rests for a bit as he thinks of a plan Hmm, ah, I think I might just have an idea he then takes off his jacket and tie, without standing up and places them next to him Now this should trick him

-in his heightened state, he hears Kuro's thoughts, but does not react, he merely awaits his plot to unfold, while waiting for kuro to act he channels his energy, primeing himself for an offencive-
