Caradoc continued reading, avoiding the various obstacles from the stairs to the bar. He pulled out his cord and plugged himself into the outlet by the coffee pot. He sat up on top of the bar and leaned against the wall casually.

Pompous noble? Trina thought, confused. It must be the...caste system here...hmm.... "I see...so she belives herself better than others?" Trina asked, not so sure she was liking that attitude. "Hi Caradoc..." She added, dark gaze thoughtful as she looked at Sapphire.

Trina asked, not so sure she was liking that attitude. "Hi Caradoc..." She added, dark gaze thoughtful as she looked at Sapphire. "In a sense yes, you saw how she and Lily were going at it over Arlen. She feels that she can't give up Arlen and has first rights to him, because she's a noblewoman." Sapphire says sighing as she collapses onto the couch. ((Digging deeper))

Kaen listened quietly, giggling to herself. "Essentially. Among humans, certain individuals find touching those not of rank to be equating themselves with the rankless and dirtying themselves. Personally, I'm just not used to shaking hands because we bow to each other."
A soft knock sounded on the door. Outside it stood an orange skinned lizard-demon, nervously twisting his hands.

Trina nodded her head. "Oh...that's not... Seemed odd to me too. My race didn't touch one another. Ever." Trina said, giving a smile. "I didn't know what a handshake was, and several people offered me one before I saw Arlen and that other man greet each other in that way." Her energy seemed to take a dip, the Racha already consumed by her wiped out system.

Caradoc looked up from his notebook and smiled, "Oh, hey Trina. I'm sorry, I didn't notice you guys. Did you need anything?"

"Yes, I didn't know about it until last year, when I offened someone for not taking an offered one, I think she was quite confused by me." Sapphire says shaking her head. "Oh well that's over now." The lizard demon looked at the door confused. THat's right...I remember Lord Akeno saying something about not knocking.... he thought to himself as he reached for the handle and pushed the door open. "E-excuse me, is Lord Akeno or Lady--- Lady Kaen!!" Orn ran in the room excited.
Kaen turned quickly to face the door at hearing her name. "Orn! What are you doing here?" she asked, not getting up from her chair.

Caradoc eyed the lizard man with interest, laying his book down entirely to gaze at him. The closest thing he's seen to anyone like that would have been Daiki.

"Y-yes, he's a...friend of Nii-san and me," she said, looking at Sapphire.
"F-friend?" Orn stammered, looking at Kaen. "Oh no no, I was part of Lord Akeno's---" He was stopped short by Kaen's hand in front of his mouth.
"That's quite enough, Orn," she said back to the lizard demon, one eyebrow arched.
