Trina turned to see who had spoken, her face lighting up to see Jad. "Hello! I was wondering when I'd see you!" She said happily, coming over to shake his hand, having just learned the greeting the other day. "How are you Jad? And..." She looked at him oddly. "How are you?" She finished again, not sure what she had been going to say.

aloh, everyone... *jad nodded, and stepped in... and the first thing to take note of is the fact that the shoulder patch of different color was gone... his skin was all the same shade... he bowed and closed the door*

Jadonima aloh, everyone... *jad nodded, and stepped in... and the first thing to take note of is the fact that the shoulder patch of different color was gone... his skin was all the same shade... he bowed and closed the door* "Well at least this time you didn't knock, or we might have sent you away." Sapphire says with a smile looking to the stairs. "Morning Kaen, how are you?"

Trina retracted the offered hand, thinking she had done it wrong. She was disappointed in herself, but too happy to care. She went to her favorite seat, and sat down again.

TyKat12 Trina retracted the offered hand, thinking she had done it wrong. She was disappointed in herself, but too happy to care. She went to her favorite seat, and sat down again. "Trina, Jad like myself does his greetings by bowing. The handshake is good for humans of this world." Sapphire says seeing how she retracted her hand.

"I'm fine," she said, crossing to the bar. "I can move my hand again." She opened and closed her hand, wincing just slightly. A few of the tendons still needed to heal.

Trina frowned slightly. Did that mean she could not shake hands? "So...I'm not supposed to greet people like that? Would it be offensive to some?" She asked, seeming put out. She thought she had learned something cool...

Caradoc walked downstairs with the black notebook he'd received earlier. He was reading it and walking at the same time, laughing quietly to himself every once in a while.

She thought she had learned something cool... "You can. Just don't feel saddened if they don't accept your hand. I don't believe there are any except maybe Countess Crystal who would be put out by you offering a handshake." Sapphire says by way of explantaioni.

Customs were odd here she thought. Sapphire pauses a moment in thought. "Well you see. HOw can I put this politely. Wait there is no way. Countess Crystal is one how do you say pompous nobles. She thinks only of her titles and doing what is good for her land, not what actually reflects her character. Anything that might degrade that character is put off as offensive." ((Sapphire totally wanted that posted, I wanted to put something else, but I can't think of anything, so yes, she took over my body again.))
