wow - pretty work - its very comicy in a way i love the shading and colouring on the cheeks xD in sinspired @__@ i love the lips and mouth too - wickedly good <33 im sure she will explode when she sees this xD ina good way of course c:

Woah, I'll go and look right away, Aidou! heart Thank you, Sui! I haven't done anything comicy in ages, but it felt good.. My school started more than a month ago too, I've just had one week off now. But thank you! whee I made a birthday present for Hir0shi! I should be sleeping, I have to drive for 6 hours tomorrow morning, but I really wanted to give him something before I leave.  There are at least 15 things I would like to work more on, but I need some sleep.. confused

Wow! That is so prettyfull!!!
I would like to practice my realism skillz myself, but I'm not so good at it on the computer. The best I could get was an eye that sort of looked real but I have troubles with skin tone blending.
I was wondering--besides just laying down the varying color, shadows and highlights for skintones and smuding them with the smudge tool, how do you go about blending?

Thanks in advance. smile Thank you! I never use the smudge tool, that's the most important thing (okay, if I'm doing a quick painting I use it to speed up the process, but it doesn't look as good). I lay down basic colours and shadows with a hard brush at about 20-30% opacity, and then go over again with the eyedrop tool and a hard brush at lower opacity. Then I go over the big surfaces with the eyedrop tool and a fairly large soft brush. That's pretty much it. 3nodding Thank you, Mary!
